I love Primrose School of Duluth West because I can put my mind at ease each and everyday I send my child to Primrose. The staff is amazing and I know that my child is in great hands. I mean that wholeheartedly and none of the staff paid me to say that! Lol Thank you all for all of your hard work, dedication, love and support. Thank you for an amazing two years! ??

If you are interested in this school, make sure to get everything in writing. After touring nearly 15 schools, we were thrilled to choose Primrose Duluth West for our child. In the weeks leading up to our child starting, we called multiple times to confirm/ask questions/request additional information. Each time we called and spoke to the front office, we had to provide our child’s name, date of birth, and start date. We did not get the follow-up we requested when we asked for simple things, like the school holiday calendar for our PTO planning purposes. But, this school came highly recommended and we were excited about their curriculum, so we put those concerns aside. When we called two weeks before the start date to schedule orientation, they said they had no record of our child’s start date. This left us scrambling to organize childcare, and given the repeated issues with organization, communication, and follow-up in the front office, we decided to go with another school. We did not feel comfortable putting our child in their care, because they demonstrated a lack of capacity for simple things like e-mailing a calendar and writing down dates. Our child has food allergies - how could we be sure that is properly documented and accommodated? To top it all off, we of course did not get our deposit back that was paid ~2.5 months in advance of our child’s intended start date to secure the spot. Overall, a disappointing, stressful, and costly experience. I gave two stars instead of one because the facility is nice and the curriculum seems great.

After evaluating different schools we decided to enroll our children (1yr & 3yr) at Primrose Duluth West. I have to say we were a bit sad taking them out due to our move because they had a blast. Mrs. Christine Thomas and her stuff took great care of our children and we never had to worry throughout the day as parents. We received real-time notifications with pictures what they were learning and even at the end of the day a entire summary. My wife and I would highly recommend Primrose Duluth West to any parent. We are sending a huge thanks once again to the entire staff! Our children felt welcomed & loved and that is what matters!

Our almost 2 year old has been attending this wonderful school for a little over 3 months now and my husband & I couldn’t be happier with the quality of care & education provided by this amazing facility. Normally, it takes our little one a while to warm up to new people but by the 3rd day of attending this school, he was reaching for Mrs. Morgan & Ms. Chris by the time we got to the front door. And based on all of the pictures we receive, I can tell that he is having a great time in Mrs. Carter’s class. Even with going through a pandemic, the staff here has still managed to provide a warm and fun environment for the children while keeping everyone safe. I truly appreciate the measures they take in order to combat the spread of COVID-19. All in all, I would highly recommend this school to all parents out there who are looking for a quality place to entrust their kids to. Thank you for all that y’all do, Primose School of Duluth West! - The Williams

Parents should be able to drop their children off and not have to concern themselves if they are being properly cared for.. Primrose of Duluth provides that. There’s no substitute for freedom of mind when it comes to a child’s school. I have two that have attended Primrose for a little over a year now and they absolutely love it.. as do I. The kiddos have made made huge progressions scholastically and socially. I have all the confidence in the world that they are getting them ready for kindergarten

My 5 year old has been at primrose of duluth west since October. Recently his classroom was shut down due to covid which is understandable. Having parents pay full tuition while it’s shut down isn’t understandable. I requested his belongings since there’s only a month left anyway because we decided to just pull him out and he literally has one notebook with a bunch of blank pages in it. Pre-K, $255 a week and one notebook for 6 months. No worksheets stapled into the notebook, they’ve brought home artwork a handful of times (maybe 6ish). I’m genuinely confused as to what it is we were paying for. The staff are all lovely people but that seems to be it. There were also a handful of other issues that I chose to overlook because my son loved it here and depending on their response, I’ll post those too. I’ll attach a picture of the notebook I referenced.Edited to add: as a private school that literally has a list of fees for everything additional that may require a fee, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to request that y’all try and accommodate parents especially since the rest of the school remained open so tuition is still coming in for the classes that are unaffected.. No one can foresee a shutdown esp mid pandemic and families are struggling without the added stress or having to find last minute care while still paying their weekly tuition.Even w integrated learning, i think it’s safe to assume parents want to actually see their child’s progress but if that’s what’s in your policy then I must’ve missed it.Like I stated, the staff seems nice enough and for the most part my son liked it here. I just always got the vibe that money was more important than anything else and this just solidified that for me.

Unprofessional staff! The attitude from management wasn't much better. I finally got so tired of it that I moved my daughter to another daycare after about 6 months. I wouldn't recommend enrolling your child at this particular location until changes are made to the staff.

After a four month maternity leave I needed to find a daycare that I could fully trust with the care of my baby. I visited several daycares that I did not feel comfortable with, but once I found Primrose I knew that I could go back to work and know that my daughter was taken care of. Miss Maria is an amazing teacher in the infant room and clearly cares for all of the babies. I've been impressed with all of the one on one time and individual care that my daughter has received and it shows with her development. The updates and photos on the app give me peace of mind that I know exactly what is going on throughout the day and I can give my demanding job my full attention while I'm working. I would highly recommend Primrose to anyone looking for a daycare.

My daughter has been going since she was 18 months old - It's been a year now, she has a medical case that always made us worry to put her in a daycare but Primrose Duluth staff was always very caring, they were very knowledgeable in how to deal with her and they were very caring. After the first couple of weeks we knew we made the right decision enrolling her there. Even though she changed classes and teachers they all were very caring and always had an eye on her. Thank you Ms Chris for being very selective with your staff. Also the director Ms Morgan is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Primrose has been an excellent choice for my nephew! The staff was transparent and kind from day one, and our whole family couldn't be happier. Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important choices you will make as a parent, and it certainly is not easy. Being able to trust the team is very important, and Duluth West has been amazing. If you are considering a new school, at least tour this place.

My family has been a part of Primrose Duluth West since my first (of 3) was an infant. Even going through this unprecedented time, Christine (Owner) and Morgan (Director) are two of the most amazing professionals I have had the pleasure working with. Their core values supporting this type of business and caring commitment for ALL the children is felt every day. In turn, the teachers who have supported my children have been wonderful. My children look forward to going to school each day and I greatly appreciate knowing that my children are cared for in such an environment. It has been a tough world with COVID, but what Christine and team has done this last year has been nothing short of a miracle, maintaining her high standards for the kids. I cannot go without this school’s support, knowing I can rely on them as I do is also a huge comfort. My world is tough, work is challenging, the collaboration from the school, proactive communications, and “keeping me informed” through all the challenges adds to the huge amount of support I feel I receive from this school. I REALLY appreciate how thorough and honest they have been, especially during the last year.

I loved this school for my 2 y/o. They provided healthy meals and snacks, and the staff was always attentive and sent regular updates. My son looked forward to going to school everyday and would always talk about what he had learned and his teachers. This gave me peace of mind as he is my first born ❤️ We moved to Alabama recently but I would definitely recommend!

My daughters have been attending Primrose Duluth West for three years now. While there has been staff change, and we were sad to see some staff leave, the new staff that has come in has been excellent. As a former childcare worker, I’ve seen the good and the bad, so finding childcare I could trust for my daughters wasn’t a simple task. I’ve learned a few things over the years - visit when they’re busy, call to check on your children, take the time to talk to the staff and get to know them and their expectations for the classroom, etc. My oldest was a preemie and my expectations for childcare were as high as possible given maternity leave was only for so long. She is now three and has been attending since she was 3 months old, but two months by preemie standards. You should see for yourself how smart she is now. She’s learned so much during her time at PDW. She loves her teachers, and loves the director and owner. My youngest began at six months during Covid and we were thrilled that she had one of my oldest’s former teachers as well. Covid hasn’t been easy, but the school has been more than transparent with us. We understand having to pay when kids have to be out. The staff has to get paid - this isn’t a restaurant, so it isn’t a shuffling of tables in and out. Sure, it stinks, but we don’t want to lose the staff we have there - trust me. There has been a Covid positive case in one of my daughter’s classrooms and both of my daughters had to be home. The staff checked in with us often. That’s not something you’re going to get just anywhere. They have a business to run and have been more than understanding with our worries on top of their worries. My girls have made memories and best friends there. Have I mentioned the hire of the new director? She’s incredible. She has a background of teaching excellence and she took the time to get to know us as she started, remembering little things, and making sure to provide us updates for classroom items. This is hands down the best school within several miles. I’ve recommended several parents here and helped with a teacher getting hired. Primrose Duluth West is worth it. Feel free to ask me.
