Beautiful park with well maintained walking trails and a dog park. There are 2 entrances to the park-one is off of Old Norcross Rd, which has the historic farm house and buildings and the other is off McDaniel Rd from Duluth Hwy/120, which is closest to the dog park and playground. There are multiple watering stations for people and dogs. There is a small stream with a nice large rock steps to get to the stream. Our dog loves to walk around in the ankle high water. The two sides connect through the trails and is about 1 mile from one entrance to the other. There are paved and dirt trails throughout the park with nice bathrooms at each entrance/parking lot and 2 large party pavilions available for reservation. There are a few small maps but they are not super clear. There's plenty of wildlife here including a herd of deer which are best seen in the early morning or evening. The park can be a little crowded on the weekends but not so much that you can't find parking.
Playground: Large playground at the McDaniel Rd entrance
Restrooms: Clean nice restrooms at each entrance
Dog-friendliness: Nice large and small dog park
Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables and places to place a blanket or hammock.

We had such a great time picking fruits and flowers at the farm. Make sure you check their website to see if they’re out of anything that day, we missed strawberry season but got plenty of other goodies.
It was one of the hottest days of the year though, so I’d recommend: frozen water bottles (they’ll thaw and be cold when you need it), umbrella for the sun, sun hats, lots of sunscreen, a wagon to carry your haul (we made multiple drop off trips to the car), snacks, and a lot of time. We at at the BBQ food truck and it was all very good. Also had some strawberry ice cream and peach cobbler and both we delicious.
We spent the whole day here as adults and had a blast. Not far from Atlanta and a great way to pass the day! Will definitely be back for those strawberries.

Family friendly, Safe and Clean:
I took my toddler to play and he had a great time, we found other kids and a group of senior citizens walking their dogs on the trail
The park is well-maintained, with clean surfaces and the equipment are clean and well maintained. The grounds are free of litter, and there are ample garbage cans throughout.

The very best! 2 restrooms 2 parking lots, many hidden trails, 1 playground, 2 picnic areas, and the dog park & dog water fountain.

One of the nicest parks in metro atlanta. I have been here 30+ in all weather to run and walk. I prefer parking on the back side due to the larger parking space and more number of emptied spots.
In the summer time, this park is well shaded. I would be careful of where you are walking as I have seen a few snakes here 1 year ago.

Just moved to the area and McDaniel Farm Park is my new local choice for taking my dog out. It has an awesome dog park and a great network of trails, that you can definitely get lost on as I proved my first day in the park! I recommend staying in the paved paths initially, though I look forward to exploring and getting lost more on the dirt paths as I spend more time at the park. The dog park is a large grassy field with some trees, fenced off to separate between small and large dogs. The only downside to the dog park is the Georgia red clay coated the underside of my pup and came home in my car with me, but that was only because it had rained earlier in the day. But, I have learned there is also a creek at the park which people let their dogs swim in, so will have to go for a dip next time he gets that dirty! Friendly people, too :-)

Absolutely beautiful location to take family photos. We found so many great places to take pictures around this park. I loved the old homes that are on site that are set up with artifacts so that you can see how people lived long ago.
