They charge minimum $1,000 for moving 20 footer stuff (nothing heavy) and driving fewer than 2 miles. They might be good for the big and long distance moving, but not for small local moving. However, they are pretty polite. If you don't want to pay $1,000 or more, don't even bother to call them.

I fully understand the driver shouldn't carry the stuff at all in case of the long distance or interstate moving because driving a long distance itself is hard work. But they said they needed at least 3 people, 1 driver and 2 movers for a small local moving less than 2 miles to the destination with tiny things (the heaviest stuff is 70 lbs.) that can sufficiently fit in a 20 footer U-haul box truck (everything can be done within one hour). I googled all moving companies near Duluth area to get a quote. The price range was between 450 and 650. However, no company was able to do moving on a certain date I want, so I called this company. This amazing company gave me a quote $1,000, but I respect their company policy that their drivers don't carry the stuff no matter what. Maybe $1,000 is only big for me, nothing for them. I can imagine it will cost you an astronomical amount of money for a 40 footer or longer interstate moving because they charge $1,000 for 2 mile 20 footer local moving that can be done less than 1 hour. I hope they don't take 3 people to pick up a big Mac from McDonald- 1 driver and 2 carriers.

I got personally recommended and got the out-of-state move service. They were very friendly and professional. They wrapped every piece of furniture to prevent scratch and assembled them together very professionally. They were very fast, too. It didn't take long at all. The fee was very reasonable as well. These guys were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, very professional, courteous, friendly, such hard workers that got my move done quickly and efficiently. The pricing was more than reasonable. I moved from GA to VA. I have huge furnitures which took longer than I expected, but they disassemble and relocate everything very fast and safely. I hope not to move again but if so I will be calling KT movers again. Highly highly recommend this moving company.

We were looking for good reliable packers and movers. I called and got quoted a lot of hourly-rate companies that also charges truck charges. I was about to go that route, but a co-worker of mine told me how they got screwed over with an hourly basis company as the estimate was far off from the actual hours and it ended up being extremely expensive. So we called KT Express that does short or long distance packing/moving. The owner came to the house and did an estimate on packing everything, disassembling beds/TVs/washers/dryers/etc and putting on the truck, moving, then re-assembling furniture appliances, etc and putting the boxes back in the correct rooms!! All for a very similar estimate price on the hourly companies... also, there was a peace of mind knowing what was quoted was a flat charge and I wouldn't have to pay a dime extra if they worked more hours than they had planned. On a side note, they packed everything with packing paper so that nothing would get damaged. Also, they bring the boxes, tape, packing paper, blankets, etc which they use to pack your stuff. All included!!
