Staff were very friendly. Location is good...centralized location in Gwinnett county. Easy to get to stores and other locations. Room was clean and just a little small. But still was comfy. Recommended staying here!

The room made me sick! The room had a strong smell of humidity and mold, I ended my stay early because just getting to the room gave me allergies and respiratory discomfort.
The hotel feels old and run down, the breakfast has very little variety and is not self-service like other Holiday Inns. Dirty room, the WiFi has very poor reception, the water in the shower came out brown at first, the toilet bowl was leaking water and was dirty. I don't recommend it.

Stayed Nov 2024 for a business trip with 7 guys, 7 different rooms spread over all floors. Never had a remarkably bad experience before at a Holiday inn, but this trip did us in. Terrible stay. Very dirty, staff was unprofessional, rooms had stained floors, missing blackout shades, open electrical boxes in main hallways, water damage everywhere, hallways dark and missing trim, etc. Smelled like wet dogs, and dogs were barking/scratching doors. Dog hair found in my dirty room.
Food was dry and below standard.
Wanted to enjoy the stay but this location has so many issues.

My husband and I spent one weeknight recently at the Holiday Inn Gwinnett Center to attend a show at the Gas South Arena. We were unable to check in early, which was annoying but understandable. The desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, plenty of room with a small desk area, dresser and loveseat, in addition to the bed. I especially liked the valet area with a small bench, shelf, and hooks. I liked that there were not small, disposable containers in the bathroom, that always feels wasteful to me. We had a microwave and fridge. We had to find housekeeping for coffee pods, the ones in the room were decaf. The bed was comfortable, the temp was good and it was quiet. Overall a great stay. My only complaint is that breakfast was not included. Oh, and it was fabulous to be able to walk to the venue and not have to worry about parking or traffic.

The location was very convenient for where we needed to be. The room was surprisingly nice, with comfortable bed and all the basics we needed.
Bathroom had a standing shower with glass doors which I really appreciated. I dread the tubs with dirty curtains but this was a nice surprise.
Breakfast was not expensive but the hot stuff was not good. The eggs had a really strong smell, the hot water was not so hot and the coffee was warm.
Food and drinks: Breakfast is cheap but not worth it! Eggs were smelly, water was warm and so was the coffee. Even after complaining they didn’t bring hot pot.

I stayed at this property for a concert. It is clean and we did have a little issue with the AC but Rebecca or as my friends calls her Miss Beautiful smile helped us she moved us to a better room and offered us free breakfast.
Later that night I came back drunk! Rebecca helped me to my room. Unfortunately she wasn’t there in the morning I really wanted to thank her. So please book here because their staff care about your safety! Definitely will be back next month

Charging for breakfast is rather greedy when most hotels offer it for free. Just taking advantage of their customers.

The only issue I had with the room was the A/C. It was humid and warm in the room no matter what the temp was. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay

It's not a high-quality hotel by any means, but I felt comfortable staying there for a long time.
The rooms are too dark.
I wish the carpet in the hallway was easier to roll bags around.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the rest of the hotel was a disappointment for the price. The hotel was in the middle of remodel since the floor we were on had the vending area and ice maker being demoed.
The hotel only seems to have central air for the lobby and each room has their own mini-split AC. The room was nice and cool, but there was definitely a noticeable difference in the hallways. While this wouldn't be an issue, this meant the AC would turn on and off every 10-15 minutes and it was a noisy unit making sleep a bit tough. The bathroom in the unit is also warm and has a bit of a musty smell again probably due to the lack of AC or exhaust fan in the bathroom.
The rooms aren't the best when it comes to soundproofing so you hear the elevator ding and every hotel room open and close along with road noise.
There was mention of a full service restaurant, but other than at night I never saw any employees in there.
The location is nice if you want to go to the arena or convention center, but other than that for the price I would opt to stay somewhere else.

The location of the hotel is great, SO much in the area to do and many restaurants to chose from. When we arrived, the location was busy with check ins. The man at the front desk who check us was friendly, and check us in fast. I do appreciate him asking the other guest to Please, nicely hold while he finished checking us in when she wanted to speak with him.
As for the night audit employee name Kira W, I am very disappointed in IHG to allow an employee to wear a purple extremely tight shirt and have bright pink hair to work front desk. I have thought highly of IHG, and after this stay I am hoping IHG has not lowered their standards. Along with her attire, she did engaged with guest, would not even make any eye contact because she was to busy on her phone the whole time. We attempted to call the front desk multiple times, she would not answer. My husband even went downstairs near the front desk and watched her ignore the phone ringing while she was on her phone. My husband went down to get snacks, and he asked Kira if he could charge the snacks to our room. All he got for a response is 1 worded answer, and an attitude.
Rooms: The rooms were spacious, and cleaned.
Nearby activities: There is always something going on in the area, you just need to ask the front desk. Just do not ask Kira W if she is working the front desk.
Walkability: The area is a little busy, but you can walk around
Food and drinks: many restaurant opportunities for families, couples and solos

Everything about the hotel is very nice - clean rooms, decent food, etc. But what really shines is the warm, friendly service by the staff there. We felt so cared for and cared about! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody staying in this area, especially if you are attending anything at the Gas South Center.

Horrible customer service. Room had no air conditioning. The way they served breakfast was dumb. Staff has no customer service skills. To end my stay I ask for silverware and she tells me they don’t have any. That’s a lie. Would not recommend coming here.

Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel is convenient/easily walkable to the concert we were attending at Gas South Arena. The front desk staff members were friendly.
Some things need to be updated. The TV is dated and has no access to streaming services. And our room only had sheer curtains covering the full window. The thicker part of the curtains is fixed/decorative, so there was nothing to block out the very bright lights from the parking deck on the other side of the parking lot. The walls are also a bit thin, so you may want to bring a white noise machine or some earplugs.
