After attempting to do my own taxes and realizing how daunting the process can be, I decided to leave this to the pros. I was very thankful to meet Bernadette through one of my mentors. Her process was the most convenient and security minded procedures I have experienced in getting my taxes done.

This review has long been due. I received an audit notice from IRS around Christmas last year. Since this was my first time receiving such a notice in 22 years of filing taxes, I was not sure what to do. I started shopping online and reached out to all those big names that you'd hear about in commercials. They were all ready to talk me into buying their "representational services" (the lowest quote I got was for 4 grand) claiming they had former IRS execs working for them. They all had local addresses but when I called I was talking with people in CA, NE, IL etc. I wanted someone truly local and found Stephen. We had a couple of (hour long) Zoom meetings and he explained (extremely patiently) what I could myself, what could anyone actually do on my behalf and advised how to correspond with IRS. While the matter is not considered closed by IRS, I know I have saved myself at least $4000. Stephen is very knowledgable and professional. I'd highly recommend him if anyone has any tax issues or need help in this area.

Stephen has done my taxes for 2 straight years and has been excellent in providing information in a timely manner to guide me through the process. He is also very supportive of Veterans. I will definitely continue using his office for tax filings and financial advice.

Thank you Bernadette and BTB Accounting! Honestly there are no words that can express my level of gratitude for this lady and her company. I had an issue with my taxes and I was fearful that I would have to pay a lot of money back because of my lack of knowledge of how and with whom I had handled business previously. Bernadette told me the options I had in front of me and the steps I needed to take to resolve it and with her help I was able to save a lot of money.

Bernadette is absolutely amazing. Tax strategies, QuickBooks education, personal and business returns.... She does it all.
