While my experience is generally no nonsense, this last time they decided to move the line, not caring for the order of the line, and then just started taking people in the wrong order. If you're going to take 10 minutes per person you better ensure the people standing in line for an hour get seen before the people that just walked up. Ridiculous.

If every business would use the customer service model of this company the world would be a better place. When I think of this company I use the 3 "P's" in this order... People, they are the kindest service people in retail, Product, constantly introducing new items at a, Price, the average person can afford. Obviously management got the memo, as a customer we have the power too shop any where. I had a SAMS card for several years, nothing wrong with SAMS, in my opinion they just are not COSTCO. I have had A COSTCO CARD for 5 years now, 2 years ago we upgraded to the next level card and as the manager promised it would pay for the membership and it has. Reason for the post is in the last year we have had 2 very interesting things we have watched develop. We shop 2 stores, Lawrenceville & Duluth (we call the mall store) 3-4 times a month. Lawrenceville last year in front of us was the RUDEST SHOPPER, she said it was her husbands card, and her credit card did not work, and it was in her opinion the stores fault. Honestly, this was one of those "YOU SHOULD BOW TO ME WAIT ON MY EVERY NEED" shopper was a JERK. The lady (I DO MEAN LADY) working the register and the man helping her were ROCK STARS. They slayed the DRAGON with service and kindness. They were so polite and did everything but pay for her purchase, and she stormed off. When I got up to the register after a long wait, I chose to wait to see what the DRAGON was up to. I looked at the LADY and stated HOW DARE YOU GIVE THAT PERSON SUCH GREAT SERVICE and we all laughed. DULUTH a very SENIOR CLASSY LADY was having issues with her credit card and she had (aprox $120.00 in grocery items) and only $65.00 in cash. I thought that she was going to cry, she kept apologizing. The Gentleman assisting and the cashier told her THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM, they apologized too those of us in line and turned their attention back to the Elderly Lady.. They asked what she was fixing for dinner, and rang that up, what's for tomorrow, they pulled that out and rang it up. They asked if there was anything else she would need for the next few days, and rang those items up. The register dude said that will give you a few days too get your credit card fixed. She offered to put the other items back and the assistant said "I GOT YOU, MY PLEASURE...SHE LEFT WITH HER DIGNITY IN TACT. I know I am a few years from being that lady. THIS goes way beyond customer service. This was KINDNESS and that is why I listed PEOPLE 1st. Great job, BETTER PEOPLE

Just like another comment said, when calling about a controlled medication to see if I can transfer my prescription (no use telling my doc to send it there if they don't have the drug, and it takes a while to get in contact with my doctor) they refused to give this information. I called the costco in Buford and they were able to answer Yes or No if the brand I require was in stock, but this Costco refused to provide the information. I have called Walgreens, CVS, Kroger and Walmart in multiple states I have lived and this is the first time I have ever dealt with this nonsense in all those places. Utterly ridiculous to deny providing basic information to customers, if this was a security issue then NO ONE would be providing that information, including the other Costco pharmacy I called. This is not a legitimate policy and it's clearly something they pulled from where the sun doesn't shine.

I visited the Costco in Gwinnett County today. This store is very similar to all the other locations in that is extremely busy. It always takes a while for you to park so patience is a virtue. If your looking for bulk items of any kind, chances are you'll find it at Costco. From toiletries to medicine, to furniture, to home entertainment, to groceries and even auto needs such as tires and car batteries, they got it. I'd definitely recommend this location to my family and friends. It was the bulk items for me.

Large Costco in Duluth close to the highway with easy parking access. I visited just before the New Year on a weekday and it was crowded but I was in and out in no time, thanks to the easy layout and self checkout system. They had an employee assisting with transactions at self checkout which made each transaction go quickly. There were also two lines to exit the store although most people gravitated towards the longest. Keep your eyes open and don't follow the crowd because you may not need to wait in a line. I purchased a large bag of ceaser salad kit $8.99, everything was included. Salad was fresh and croutons were tasty. Located in fridge section close to bakery. Dungeness crabs (4) $22.38 and lobster tails (6) $41.73. Portions were large and meaty. You can find these items all year. I experienced excellent service and purchased all items on my list.

My husband and I visited this Costco and it was a whole journey that one could never prepare for. First and foremost, if you're going to shop on the weekends, be prepared to spend half of your visit looking for a parking space. There was actually a line out into street traffic just to enter the parking lot. We drove around and around, finally after twenty minutes we got one. Once we got inside the store it was so crowded we could barely move around, without getting bumped or ran over by rude people with their shopping carts. Meat department and baked goods were great as usual, but it was just too too crowded. It made our experience terrible. I will go to a different location next trip.

I wish I could 0 star. the whole crew are jerks... the black lady asked us to fill forms for vaccines and said 15 minutes waiting time then someone will call you... but after 55 minutes, still no call even we clearly show the anxiety. I did ask the same lady and the korean lady again and they all said there is only one man who is certified to inject and he has been on the phone. Are you kidding me? then I ask how much more time I need to wait, the lady has no idea by saying just wait! this is ridiculous and unacceptable... I have been a costco member for 10 years and I have never had such a bad experience before... The pharmacy staff should all be fired since they just don't care about customer by showing indifference. I hope the management team can take high priority on this!!!!!

The customer service at this location is absolutely terrible. The two employees that we interacted with were incredibly rude and treated us terrible. The words they used were demeaning and made the day worse.

This pharmacy technician treats you like a drug addict if you're trying to ask if they even have the controlled substance in stock. Kroger, Publix, Walgreens, everywhere else on the planet will at least tell you if your controlled substance is not in stock so that you can not waste your time having your doctor call in the prescription there, especially because these medications are currently on backorder and nearly every pharmacy is out of stock. Maybe instead of repeating "I can't give you the medication over the phone, your doctor has to call" like I'm an idiot, say "we are not allowed to share our stock levels even though it would prevent you from wasting our, your and your doctor's time." Those of us taking controlled substances are well aware that our doctors have to certify the prescription. We aren't trying to literally transfer it, we are trying to not waste everyone's time by sending you a prescription you maybe can't fill. It's called "elaboration" and "empathy."

This is a rating of the $10 roast beef sandwich only! I have seen the picture of this sandwich every visit but NEVER seen anyone order one. So yesterday I did! It takes awhile to make it! Probably about 8 minutes when most other items are ready. I was surprised to find this is a COLD sandwich! It is served cut in half. So you could share one easily. It has an Asian ginger sauce on the meat. Also roasted tomatos, cold. The taste isnt bad, but nothing to rave about either. At $10 a pop it seems very out of place when most are eating $1.50 hot dogs that also include a drink and this of course does not. I know the hot dog is a loss leader, but still those not eating the hot dog have $1.99 pizza. So now I can quit wondering what this is like! Personally at this price I think served hot with melted cheese would be better. They serve with lettuce to sunce its c

I encountered a lack of bike parking at this location, which led to a frustrating encounter when I parked my bike in a designated spot. Unfortunately, a person voiced their dissatisfaction, making the experience less enjoyable. I would hesitate to recommend visiting this place. I'd like to note that my tundra broke down several months ago, prompting me to rely on my bike as a more eco-friendly alternative. With rising gas prices and an increased focus on environmental sustainability, using a bicycle for transportation not only saves money but also aligns with a more eco-conscious lifestyle.

Three hour tire rotation... WITH appointment. They'll take care of others without appointments, people using others' memberships, anyone else... but not someone with an appointment. Pathetic.
