I have been a client of this salon since it open its door in our neighborhood. The service was ok, never great and prices were a bit high, but it was convenient for me and that's why I went there. I booked a blow out for my daughter's quinceanera a month in advance with Alex. she promised she would do her hair as well as a hair do. I called her a week before the event to remind her of my apptm. She said we were all set.
I arrive as scheduled, to find out she had left for the day. There was one person seating there who was terrible and said that if i wanted to, she could help, but didnt really seem like she wanted to help.
Let me just say that when I called Alex I was beyond irriate, and I had a good reason to be. Her response was that she forgot about me, but that she had other people there to help me. And that was not okay with me. She didn't even have the decency to call me in advance to let me know. She got upset at me and told the other hair stylist to NOT help me and to NOT do my daughter's hair. My daughter's quinceanera was the next day! it was the worst experience I have ever had with this salon. Don't come here. Its all too expensive and the staff is unprofessional, especially Alex the owner.
Instead, go to this heaven studio dominican salon on east crossville road only 8 mins away from this awful place. The staff there are sweet, professional and they saved the day for my daughter's quinceanera!!

2 o'clock appointment today with Alex. Greeted upon entering, show her a photo of how it was previously done.
She did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! Since relocating from NY she is the very first that styled my hair, since living in Georgia, the way I used to have it done back home. I didn't even have to explain how I wanted it done.
It was definitely worth the drive and I will be returning!!!

I would just like to say that I have being Alex for maybe 6 years now, and I just can't leave her alone. :) I love how she gets my hair silky straight and their sew ins are no joke! Alex and her employees are very detailed oriented with great customer service. Alex! I need my hair dyed. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Isa did such a great job. I loved my roller set & blow out. She is my new hair stylist moving forward as I am new to Georgia. I am happy to have found her.
Great salon and very pleased with my blowout even two weeks later. Will be back and add a trim. Thank you!

Absolutely love this place!! I have to find good places for my type and texture hair, which is Very latin ? and I have continued to come here ever since the first time! Definitely would recommend this salon to anyone ..!!

The salon feels like home and everyone including Alex, her husband, mother and daughters all feel like family to me. I have been going to Alex for a couple years and always leave satisfied. However as of August 2023 I stopped by to have Alex shave my head. I was diagnosed with cancer and the chemotherapy treatments caused brutal hair loss. The shave- was such a sentimental moment that I’ll never forget. Since finding out of my condition Alex has continued to check in on me to see how I am doing. I can’t wait for my hair to start growing back so that I can be blessed not just by her hands again but by everyone’s presence within the Alex Dominican Salon!!Services: Blowouts

I received a balayage on my box dyed black hair and she did her thing!!! She’s very professional and informative during the process as well as aftercare. She always takes care of my hair and never disappoints! Highly recommend!!! 10/10

I found Alex on google today and it was the best decision I’ve made. She’s very talented and professional! She treated my hair with care and restored it back to health. I highly suggest and recommend her salon for Afro hair she is truly an expert.

Excellent experience every single time I go. Alex and her staff are amazing and never let me down! My silk presses last longer than any other salon I’ve been to and do NOT damage my natural hair! I highly recommend this place.
