They rip you off for real. They charged me $200 for inspection, and quoted me $900 for a rotor change. At another spot 5 mins off, they quoted me $500 including labor and no charge for inspection.
$200 for brake system inspection?!?

Outstanding service My car overheated on the interstate and I needed immediate help. I called my mechanic back in Asheville and asked for their assistance for the closest great service and they did a research and they said go to 888 auto repair service and I’m glad I did. Kevin, the owner help me immediately walked it out from the least cost to before moving it progressively to anything bigger diagnosed. It took time to do it and all of it done swiftly and with great care excellent communication and a thoughtfulness to give me the best service.. highly recommend

Please excuse me as I never wrote reviews because most places operate off honesty and integrity. I had my vehicle towed to this location based off SOME of their reviews but I should’ve done a deeper dive. It only took me approximately 5 minutes to arrive at their facility and they already recommended a new alternator and battery. My battery was BRAND new and mind you my father had already replaced the engine, spark plugs, belts etc. I informed Kevin that it was overheating but was almost certain the alternator had nothing to do with it. Upon telling my boyfriend the cost was nearly $1000 he was livid because he knew they were simply getting over! Unfortunately there was nothing I could do because I had already agreed to have it fixed in hopes this would be a resolution. I didn’t even make it the 5 minute drive home before it began overheating once more! The crazy thing is they knew what was wrong because he mentioned it maybe electrical so why not quote me a price to have this done? I worked 2 jobs to have my car fixed only to not have my car fixed and wasted nearly $1000 dollars I’m truly devastated and will NEVER return to this place again!

It has been four years since I moved to Georgia, and for about three years, I have been coming to 888 Auto Body Shop for all my family’s vehicles’ care. The experiences have been great so far. Check engine light : P0442, P0456, P0455 evap leaks
Paid for a new gas cap (not the issue 10-20$)
Paid for a new canister and vent solenoid ( 500-600$ and not the issue)
Paid for inspection (100$) and all the above and then got QUOTED for a fuel filler neck replacement like ~1,000$. said no. NO LIE, I studied the evap system for my car(youtube), inspected myself, found dry old rotted rubber hoses with cracks ON THE ENGINE BAY, cracked them off, replaced with new rubber ones from AdvancedAparts, only cost 10$. This problem should have been found VERY easily for someone WITH experience. So not only did I get ripped off, but they did NOT even fix the issues. I can confidently say I now have more experience than them just from one youtube video.
