This place is awful. Dont leave your pets overnight or for the weekend. I picked mine up and she was so scared and had feces all on her back side. When I asked the doctor about it, he became irate and told me they do nothing wrong with the dog's and walked out the door. Please don't bring your babies here.

BEWARE! This was the most expensive annual wellness visit I've ever experienced for 2 small dogs in good health TOTALING $432!!! I will not return and will NEVER recommend them. I was charged $60 per dog for the "Wellness Program" which was initially explained as the cost of vaccinations. When I pointed out that I was charged separately for vaccines, the receptionist came back and said it was for administrative costs (i.e. answering the phones, being available after hours-although, there is a separate charge for after hours services as well if used). I was also charged $45 per dog for "Wellness Exam and Evaluation" as well as the vaccination charges. I was distracted at the time of checkout with both dogs and children, so I was "had" this time, but NEVER AGAIN. Photo of itemized bill attached.

Unfortunately the ending of my story of my experience with Dublin Animal Hospital is not a happy one, our loving cat died of compications related to pika and an obstructed digestive tract. Thinking he was having a bad reaction to his food, which we had experienced in the past with a cat, my family and I waited far too long to have him looked at. However, I highly recomend their care for your pet as they were very sensitive in Loki's final hours and in handleing a family who very much love their pet and were heart broken and in mourning from the moment we learned he wasn't going to survive. Dr. Lord and his staff made every effort to keep us abreast of Loki's condition as things changed rapidly, I was allowed to fetch my daughter from school to wish him good bye in case surgery wasn't enough and Dublin Animal Hospital allowed us to make choices in our own time about how to proceede when surgery revealed that, even if our baby made it through, he would never make a full recovery.Loki was euthenized on the oporating table and given back to us with care and respect. Dr. Lord had worked very hard and long to save him and was very careful and respectful about explaining the complications and circumstances and assured us that we had made the best choice for Loki. The care of Dublin Animal Hospital was one of the last gifts we were able to give our kitty and I do not regret that choice. They were the first care Loki recieved and they were his last. One of the hardest parts of mourning is seeing the body of our loved one and I had brought his bed and intended to wrap him in the blanket I had left for his comfort so we could bring him home without a great shock to our daughter, who we wanted to give the closure of a funeral but not have to see him post surgery especially with the weight he had lost while sick, but Dr. Lord had already prepared our cat in a lovely, quilted bag with a ribbon, with his favorite blankie resting on top. This felt so personal, it felt so dignified.Yesterday we recieved a condolences card in the mail, I've never imagined I could recieve so much support through the loss of a pet.It is wonderful to know that, for Loki as well as our other pets, Belladona aka Mama(a tuxedo kitty) and Trooper( a good ol' American Mutt), are in the hands of people who care just as much as we do.God(s) bless them, guide them and carry them.In Loving Memory of Loki Robert Odinson.September 2019-March 30 2021

Dr.Lord was less than respectful and empathetic when we took our 11 year old lab that he had been treating for heart failure to be euthanized. He refused to administer the shot to her in the back of our SUV saying “he doesn’t work in the parking lot”. Instead, he grabbed our sick girl by the skin of her neck and drug her out of the vehicle and carried her inside. She was terrified during the last few minutes of her life.

Jody in the front office is great as well as the techs in the back.
