I absolutely love everyone and Dr.Potts is so great with my dogs. I just love that she is always willing to answer my questions and never acts like my questions are dumb.

I brought my dog to Animal Medical Clinic multiple times for a persistent cough. Dr. Potts initially diagnosed it as allergies and prescribed medication. Despite following the treatment plan, my dog's condition didn't improve.
After multiple visits and discussions with Dr. Potts, I felt my concerns were not being taken seriously. X-rays were eventually taken and Dr. Potts diagnosed my dog with an enlarged heart, prescribing heart medication. She also mentioned that the coughing likely wouldn't improve.
Seeking a second opinion at Magnolia Grove Vet, Dr. Richie couldn't find any reason for my dog to be on heart medication as the heart enlargement was minimal. Instead, Dr. Richie diagnosed a collapsible trachea, and the correct treatment has dramatically improved my dog's quality of life. I strongly recommend considering a different vet clinic if you're concerned about your pet's well-being.

Just had my youngest furbaby spayed there! I was really nervous, but they made me feel sooo comfortable. They took such good care of my baby and she's already healing well! Thank you so much, only place I'll use for a vet from now on!

Best staff available! My baby loves Dr. Potts. The staff is great with him. However, I've found that the groomer is terrible I hate to say. Keep in mind ALL of my veterinary needs have been accommodated to the absolute highest standard!! Every checkup, puppy scheduled shots and treatments, neutering, doggy daycare, etc... has been exceptional. The groomer however is another story all together. She's unpleasant and my puppy has come back smelling like he's not even had a bath and he's not been trimmed. The groomer tells me that he's "aggressive" when attempting to be groomed around his face. She also says he's too young for nail trimming. Odd that the vet tech was able to clip his nails perfectly?! I highly recommend Dr. Potts and her veterinary staff but will not be returning for grooming services.

HAD A BEAGLE THAT WAS BLEEDING OUT OF HER BEHIND. LEFT HER THERE. I CALLED AND ASKED WHAT DID THE X RAY SHOW..SHE SAID SHE DIDNT TAKE ONE?? HOW COULD THEY KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING Internally? BEGGED TO KEEP HER OVERNIGHT. GIVE HER SOME FLUIDS AND BLOOD. THEY SAID UNDER NO CONDITION WOULD THEY KEEP HER OVERNIGHT! SPENT ALMOST 300! FOR WHAT! NOT EVEN AB XRAY DONE?? MY BABY DIED WHEN WE GOT HER HOME..I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VET TO ANYONE.. SOME PEOPLE USE HER BECAUSE SHE IS SOMEWHAT CHEAPER(NOT ANYMORE) YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. VET AND STAFF WAS UGLY TO US. WISH TO GOD I TOOK MY BABY TO A VET THAT CARED! O! SHE LEFT IN MUCH WORSE SHAPE THAN SHE CAME IN..WHO DOES THAT??!!

Don’t come here for bathing or grooming. You’re expected to leave your pet at 0800-0900AM and then you don’t pick them up until 0330PM. That’s already too much for just a simple bath and nail trim (no grooming or trimming!) When I arrived at 0330PM to pick up my dog the groomer had my dog in her arms without her harness or leash on her. My dog was flailing wildly because she is never handled this way, it’s kind of dangerous to handle a dachshund improperly so we always handle her appropriately. The mishandling and length of wait time made me mad before I could pay and even check over my dog. When I did finally get her back in my vehicle I realized she still stinks and her nails are not trimmed. She’s just slightly greasy now and she wasn’t before this visit. I can’t even smell anything on her besides smelly dog. You don’t go to a groomer, pay $35, make your dog wait the entire day just to get them back smelling the same and having the same length nails. She’s also extremely sleepy after coming home which has me worried, is it just because she’s been in a tiny crate for 8 hours? The vet seemed nice enough and answered my questions nice and thorough enough when she was seen for a vet appointment, I’ve even brought my new dachshund puppy here and liked the vet a lot. I just really do not recommend anyone use this place for bathing/grooming. It doesn’t matter if there is only one person doing it. Just go to Mutty Paws, it’s the same price, it’s one groomer and they are done in an hour. I would have never given this place a shot for bathing/grooming if I would have known all of this. That said I do like the vet and the receptionist a lot. I would recommend taking animals here to be seen for exams etc, just NOT bathing/grooming/nail trims.

Affordable, kind and great availability. Great for routine needs but it's important to be clear about what you need and double check as communications are often missed.

My dog was sick and I called Animal Medical Clinic of Lauren’s who I have used for regular checkups for 3 years but they could not see him. He was bleeding from rectum. Took him to Smalley’s and they said they were not taking new patients. Told them what was happening and they said to leave him and they would get to him but it may be over the weekend. While I was filling out papers Dr Jim Hobby had already seen him and gave me his diagnosis and course of treatment. I would HIGHLY recommend them.
