They went way out of their way to have the window delivered and installed in under 24 hours... and they did not price gouge me. I've got a lot of respect for these guys. “I needed an air bag suspension part for my Volvo and stopped here to pick one up. They didn't have it in stock, but they put in effort above and beyond the norm to help me out. They found one at a local parts store and then had their guy go pick it up!! Then, they only charged me the wholesale price, without even charging for picking it up! Who does that?!?!! “I visited Advanced Auto Parts a few weeks ago. DJ was assisting other customers while I waited in line.
His manager was helping someone outside with their vehicle. He came back and forth into the store until he fininshed helping them. He finally returned to the store twenty (20) minutes from the time of my arrival.
I purchased brake and tail lights and asked DJ to show me how to replace the lights. As his manager had come back into the store, DJ followed me to my car. The lights were very difficult to remove. Total time from removing the panels and replacing the lights was less than ten (10) minutes.
At this time, his manager came out the store indicating that he needed DJ back inside because it was only the two of them working. Moreover, his manager emphasized that they were not supposed to help customers with their vehicles.
This was so hypocritical, as the manager had just finished helping people outside the store for about 20 minutes leaving DJ alone. Moreover, the manager should have taken DJ to the side and not admonish him in front of a customer. As a former HR professional, this is totally inappropriate.
I would like to thank DJ for service excellence and professionalism. He went above and beyond to ensure an elderly customer received a great customer experience. Thanks to Advanced Auto Parts for hiring such an exceptional young man.”

“Oh my goodness I broke down in the parking lot after shopping. My car wouldn't start I made contact with the auto center and they had just closed. But the guy came out to check to no avail. Fast forward this morning Wed.went back to check on car. These people were the best, I let them know the battery came from them, they changed the battery. But wait the car still didn't start, so they had their lead mechanic George look at it. He fixed the problem and had me on my way. Tens for this outstanding staff and 50 for George.”
