I had dental work and my dentist prescribed a standard dosage of Tylenol 3. The pharmacist refused to fill it due to "Walmart policies". She said since I had never received that med before she couldn't fill it. She said had I received it in the past she could fill it with no problems. My dentist spoke with her and explained it was the standard dosage. The pharmacist refused and sent me off in pain. She said I would have to go somewhere else to fill it. I felt discriminated. I went to Walgreens and they filled it with no problems and were $4 cheaper. I will never go back to Walmart Pharmacy again.

There is a problem at this location, and the name of the problem is Mai and Sam. I have been filling my prescriptions here since June of 2022, the same two prescriptions on a monthly basis, and never encountered an issue other than the speed of service. On Saturday 3/4/23 I alerted the pharmacist I was going out of town and needed to get my prescription filled. She informed me the medicine was out of stock. With that information, I had the prescription transferred to the pharmacy out of state that I was traveling to, as to ensure my medical rudiment was not interrupted. On 3/8/23 I go to the pharmacy out of state to pick up the prescription and learn that Sam back at the douglasville pharmacy put a stop on the medication. When I called to inquire why he stated, "I want to make sure you're okay. Your doctor prescribed you to take a weekly medication twice a week." I replied to him, "I feel fine" and reassured him the frequency was fine as my doctor and I spoke about it and it was written in her notes on the MyChart app. Sam says in response, "I'm going to have Mai to reach out to her in the morning to confirm before we send the prescription out."Simply put, Sam is overstepping his boundaries. If he was so "concerned" with my health, why didn't he pick up the phone and call me? My cellphone number is listed on my customer profile in their system, and I had been getting my prescription filled in person since June, July, August, September, October, November. December, January, and February. That was NINE times that someone had an opportunity to take and ASK ME, if I was "okay" with my medical rudiment. You don't wait until I travel out of town and say, "I want to call your doctor to verify they know they have you taking a weekly medicine twice!" How come Mai didn't say that to me on the phone when we spoke on 3/4/23? Or anyone for that matter, when I picked up my medication from you all in person for the past NINE months?!I don't require any handholding as a grown woman, from two stranger pharmacists who I do not discuss my medical needs with. Their job is to fill the prescription. It is the job of my chosen provider to discuss my needs and make a decision on how to medicate those needs. For Sam to attempt to micromanage the agreement between myself and my provider is egregious and unacceptable. I feel violated and I will be making further complaints against this location.

Ever since I switched over to Walmart I never have any issues with getting my medication the same day!! The entire staff is always helpful and nice. When there was a problem with my prescription the made it a priority to take care of it right then!! I appreciate the entire staff!!!!

I changed to Walmart pharmacy because my insurance changed and that was the preferred one. I expected long lines and surly service like the rest of Walmart, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The texts are very polite and knowledgeable, and they helped me straighten out several problems caused by getting married and changing my name. Even on the phone they are extremely polite and helpful. The lines have not been long either! I don't know why this pharmacy on Concourse parkway in Douglasville is not more highly rated ?

They have been calling me for over 2 years now. I’ve answered and told them on numerous occasions that they have the wrong number. I’ve asked them to remove my number from their database, to no avail. I don’t live in the area and have no reason to have prescriptions filled there. I’ve blocked the number and somehow they are still calling. This is beyond annoying at this point.

When you visit, make sure you see Sarahi (might have misspelled name). She is going to take care of you. She is awesome.

The slowest, rudest pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They rarely answer the phone and always have a slow moving line. Go absolutely anywhere else if you can.

I went to the pharmacy for eye drops. Courteous, typical service.
