Prices. Just ridiculous. They charge you a Diagnostic fee even if you get the work done there. You still pay the 120 fee along with any other work you get done. They use to not do that. So you get a diagnostic that's 120..say the job is 300 total. You'll pay 420... Smh I use to love coming here getting all my work done to my cars..prices was reasonable at 1st

I wish I could leave zero stars. Got two matching used tires from here a month ago and they were dry rotted. Literally one month in the tire blew so bad it ripped part of my bumper off, ripped the wires to my lights off and break line.. all from the tire I got from here a month ago. Worst news is they were matching tires so I know the other one is going to do the same thing soon. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING HERE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING BUYING FROM THEM. WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD BUYING USES TIRES.

I would like to sincerely apologize for the bad review I gave for Southern Tire and Auto Shop in Douglasville GA. The manager Miss Diane reached out to me and apologized for the whole incident. I truly appreciated that and will say Southern Tire is a great place. Any problems you may have with them,please speak with the front desk representative or ask for the manager. They will resolve whatever the problem is. Southern Tire and Auto Shop is a great place to take your car for services. I highly recommend them.

The staff was great and quick with giving me an oil change. The price is excellent if you're bringing your own oil and filter. This will be my GOTO for auto repairs!

If you need a good tire place and you want some good used tires Southern Tire does a good job. I have also had them do some work on a few of my vehicles and they are cheaper than the other shop I use. Nice people but I try not to wait while work is being done. Just call ahead.

Overall decent service. (I'm a returning customer). Their diagnostic work is fairly priced and quite thorough. Helped me get my car back in excellent working order. Customer service reps are very open about their pricing. And are usually willing to let you bring your own parts; which can be helpful.

I have to give them 5 stars because they did right by my husband. He has been going there for years and he took his new car there for for a tire change and the lug nut was broken off because it was put back on poorly. It started off shaky because it seemed as the owner was trying to avoid fixing the issue but thankfully this business operates out of integrity and will be fixing my husband’s car properly.

I would just like to say that I have been to Southern Tire & Auto many times having everything from tire work to engine work done and they always take great care of me at a very fair price. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Wish I could give zero stars…. I prayed to have a good experience with these ppl and it didn’t go that way as soon as they jacked my car up the whole vibe changed the front desk lady started giving Karen vibes I’m guessing b/c she didn’t have a clue to what’s actually going and she actually tried to toss my receipt at me idk if it’s bc I’m black or she treats everyone this way. Jose (maybe the owner)ego is so big you cant voice your concerns w/out him getting argumentative. He starts telling you how long he been doing his job even when you’re asking valid questions. It’s some shady places out here be careful. And don’t go here if you wanna ask questions about the service they are providing.

I took my vehicle there because it was shaking whenever I came to a stop. The owner Jose said that he was 99% sure that the problem was rotors or brakes. They called me the following day saying that my vehicle was ready for pickup and the charge was over $470 for front rotors and brake pads. I agreed to pay but when I got there my vehicle was shaking just like it was when I dropped it off there.We had a heated discussion about him charging me for rotors and brakes and that not being the reason for the shaking. He made up some excuses about me not explaining the problem correctly when I clearly told him that the car was shaking. Any professional mechanic would have test drove and diagnosed the vehicle before doing any repairs. I told him to take his new rotors and brake pads off my vehicle and put my old ones back on it. He told me I still owed him $190 for labor that took 15 minutes to complete. I know that because I watched them put my old ones back on. That was the WORST experience I've ever had with a repair shop. I'll make sure I share this with EVERYONE!!!Part2 I just finished reading the other reviews for this place which i should have done before going there. I see that I'm not the only one that received the worst treatment ever. There is one thing I can say about them, and that is they are consistent with the mis-treatment of paying customers.

Bad!!! Don't go there PLEASE!!! I went there because my car was shaking whenever I came to a stop. Jose said that he was 99% sure that it was the front rotors and brake pads. I received a call from them the following day, they said that my vehicle was ready. When I picked up my vehicle it was still shaking, nothing changed. Jose tried to charge me over $470. I disputed the charge because I brought my car there to have the shaking stopped. We had a big argument because he wasn't man enough to admit that he was wrong. If he would have test drove the car and did an official diagnosis, he would have known that it wasn't the rotors or brakes, but he made up some bail-out story talking about I didn't explain the shaking correctly. I didn't go there asking for new rotors or new brake pads so I told him to remove his rotors and brake pads and put my old ones back on because obviously that wasn't the issue with the shaking. He still charged me $190 for labor which is insane considering the fact that I never asked for rotors or brake pads in the beginning. Now I'm out of $190 for absolutely nothing. My vehicle is still shaking. If I would have read all of those negative reviews about him and his business I would have never went there from the start. So I'm warning everybody out there to read reviews before pulling up because you might ultimately end up getting screwed like I did. There are good shops out there with people that hold themselves accountable but his is not one of them. (Take your time read reviews and not REGRET!)
