Bankhead Animal Hospital
11471 Veterans Memorial Hwy, DouglasvilleMy dog Candy recently got diagnosed with diabetes and it’s been very difficult to manage her levels. This problem couldn’t have come at a worse time, where I just couldn’t give Candy the attention she needed. Dr Fredricks is very understanding, very friendly and WILL spend time speaking to you as long as there’s a chance to. I have never ever felt rushed inside of their clinic or on the phone. I’ve grown to appreciate Dr Fredricks as a professional and as a person due to the frequent visits. I wish her and her assistant many many blessings. <3

High Noon Brunchery
8440 Courthouse Square E, DouglasvilleWe almost didn't get to eat here because on Saturday 11/30/22024 we got to the hostess desk at 02:40 PM and were told we could not be seated because it was too late. We were surprised because the website said they closed at 03:00 PM. The host said the kitchen would be angry with her if she brought in 2 more guests. We left and went to our cousin's house and warmed up some leftovers from Thursday. My wife encouraged me to be forgiving and go back to give this place a try. I did give in, and I am glad I did. The place is unique in its decor of all pink. Our server, Taylor was a wonderful server. She gave us details that helped us decide on what we would order. We had already made up our minds to order the Fried Green Tomatoes, which were a real hit with us. My wife ordered Shrimp Quinoa as a Salad, with Sweet Potato Fries, also very good tasting and cut in a crinkled fashion. My wife was wonderfully pleased. I ordered the Catfish and Grits, with over easy eggs, and wheat toast. My hat is off to the chefs for a great meal. Everything was tasting great, and the grits were not too runny, they were just right to mix the eggs with them. The owner stopped by our table to check on what we thought of the food and we let him know the food and service were quite pleasing and we mentioned that we had stopped by on Saturday and were turned away. He explained that they shut the kitchen down at 02:30 PM because the staff has to go to another location. We asked that that information be included on their website. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.
