The staff is awful! Not to mention they messed my account up with my name .
Here’s what happened and how I found out , so as you can see above my name is Marlayna Diaz Castellanos, well when I signed up for my account etc the account was listed as Marlayna Diaz right , no big deal at all , not until I came in the branch to make some changes on my account and of course showed my ID and my Identification is my full name . Just like when I signed up with the same ID & a bill for extra proof which was ALSO MY FULL NAME !
So today when I tried to make changes I was told I need to bring the correct ID with just Diaz on it !!! Hmmmm well that’s impossible right cause I don’t have any other identification. So literally they made me obtain my marriage certificate to bring it to the branch to change thr name on my account just so I can access it and make changes !
This is there fault they messed my account up & to make me go to the extreme of obtaining a marriage license to access or change my account is absolutely ridiculous!
Honestly I’m pissed !
But yet here I am with my ORIGINAL NAVY FOLDER WITH ALLLLLL THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS THAT GOT ME MY ACCOUNT TO BEGIN WITH & My marriage certificate! Waiting for them to fix my account when it’s their mistake! It’s absolutely crazy they asked me to bring the ID with just the name Diaz on it like I was a liar !
SMFH INSTEAD OF THEM HOLDING THEIR SELVES ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR FK UP , they literally make me go on a goose chase to show them my name is correct on my end!
So ignorant!

Horrific customer service. Incompetent staff that wasted a half an hour of my time not understanding or being able to rectify a minor situation I had regarding my phone number and newly created checking account. Instead of actually trying to help me update my legal name to match my phone records to use zelle, I was treated like I was a nuisance. Completely unacceptable behavior when I'm told " Sorry..there's nothing we can do to help you, it's a zelle issue". After speaking with several reps and finally getting a competent representative over the phone, I was told the experience I had was unbelievable and should happen to NO Navy federal customer. The woman kindly told me they were supposed to have me complete a 97CI form to allow me to simply update and change my name to amend any minor name mismatch smh. A complete disaster from this branch location. They gave me a debit card and told me you can't use your phone number for zelle because your name is wrong but you can use your email. That was also wrong. Instead of giving me the correct form I needed, the woman rep over the phone sent me the docs via email. I filled it out and simply uploaded it within the app. The form literally states going in to a branch WAS ONE OF THE SUBMISSION OPTIONS. I went to this branch and instead of being handled properly, they had no idea what they were doing.

Always had a great experience here at the Douglasville Branch, today Lucia was extra helpful and patient. Branch manager always so humble and funny. Never had a bad experience with any of the representatives.

For this place to be so busy all the time you would have thought they would have anticipated this with it being the only branch in the area and picked a better location with parking available. The spot across the street which is now delta credit union would have worked. They are never busy yet have ample parking.What made me come here for this is Saturday they did not open the inside and kept telling people to come back. They gave no explanation so myself and several others made multiple trips up here just to kept being told to come back. It would have saved many people time and frustration by just saying the branch was closed on the inside for the entire day. To me that is poor management when you have 10 or more members at a time in the ATM room looking at employees sitting on table tops drinking coffee just staring. If management was not going to offer any explanations WHY keep your employees visible to people who were getting upset about being ignored.
