Worst pharmacy I have ever been to.
Drive through is often closed, even when it is supposed to be open.
If you go inside, the service is painfully slow. By the time they get to you, the illness you had would have wore off.
Always an issue with this pharmacy and not once have I been able to just get what I need without having to go through some unnecessary inconvenience.
Management needs to get its act together!

I am officially through with Kroger’s pharmacies and their lack of diligence, understanding, and respect. I have to take birth control for medical issues with the cause being my uterus. Birth control is an invasive treatment because if you do not take the pill daily at an appropriate time, there is a likelihood of having a breakthrough which could either last seven days to MONTHS. Because of this pharmacy’s absence of proper management and work ethic, my birth control has been late and/or delayed countless times which then causes breakthroughs that are considerably agonizing and a grievance to my general health. Kroger pharmacies advertise holding the value of health, however, this is far from reality, as I’ve had to endure all these problems due to their unwillingness. This is exactly why most say the healthcare system in States are problematic and atrocious. Where there should be hospitality and upkeep, there is none. I’ve had to speak with insensitive and impolite associates, I’ve had the line cut in my face, and I’ve had to contact this pharmacy repeatedly to ask questions in regard to my medication status only to be met with unexplained delays that have nothing to do with shortage but have everything to do with how they absolutely do NOT care. Thank you Kroger pharmacy on Chapel Hill Rd once again for giving me yet another opportunity to deal with my unbearable cramps, immobilizing back pain, abnormal heavy bleeding, and unending nausea or vomiting or both for yet another week or, possibly, months.

I've been in this town for 4 years and they didn't want to give me the flu vaccine, why don't I have the vaccine record?

I usually go to a different pharmacy but decided to try this one because it was close by, that was my first mistake. I went by at 7:00pm to drop off my prescription, with no expectation for them to fill my prescription at all seeing that they close at 8pm. Before I could even open my mouth to say what I was there for I was greeted by this old lady with a jagged blonde wig saying “ we ain’t gone fill no prescription tonight” not one hello how are you in sight! But I ignored that and said, yes mam I understand, I just wanted to drop it off. Someone came and took my phone number and said I would be called when it was ready. No one asked for my insurance info or anything. So It’s now 11:00 and I haven’t even received a call, so I reach out. And the rudeness continues, I give my information and she states I’m not even in the system, I inform her that I dropped it off last night. And she comes back and says “well who do you have insurance with ” I respond, and she responds in a nasty tone “well do you have the information because I don’t have anything” I kindly let her know that no one asked me for my insurance information and she cuts me off and says, “okay, what is it” not asking for specific Info because I don’t have a clue what I for she needs. I kindly say I want to take my prescription elsewhere at this point. I refuse to patronize anywhere that people are rude and nasty. And unprovoked at that. Based on their previous reviews. They need a whole new team!

Their incompetence has finally worn thin. Our prescriptions aren't ever ready when they are supposed to. What a waste of our time and my son's balanced health.

This place has consistently declined. Corporate doesn't give a rip about complaints. Long lines and bad service

Why have a pickup window if it is rarely open?

Recently, my daughter went to this pharmacy to get a prescription for me. I asked her to use the discount card that I downloaded from the medication website. Please note I’ve used these cards before in the past. Also, note the cost prior to the discount would have been $65 with my insurance. With the discount and insurance, the cost goes down to $20. My daughter went to Kroger 3 times and was told either the card was not activated or they were unable to enter the card. Of course, i knew it could be used and that it was more than likely an unknowledgeable pharmacy staff person who didn’t want to say i don’t know how to do this or even ask for help. The current customer service is bad or training for their staff needs to be reviewed. The worst part about my experience is when i called to find out why my daughter was having such a hard time using the discount card, i was immediately placed on hold and the staff member return and abruptly asked me for the discount card information. How rude can you be to treat someone bad because you lack the skills or know-how about your job. Now when she completed entering my card information, she stated that she had gotten the cost down to $165. At this point, I lost it a little on the phone and yelled “Are you kidding me”! I stated that before the discount card with my insurance the cost was $65 and you just pressed a button and now it’s 2.5X more. She then said, “oh you wanted me to use it with the insurance”. Well, it was all I could do not to hang up screaming obscenities into the phone. I guess my silence made her realize how idiotic that question sounded. Walgreens is near me and I am definitely considering moving my prescriptions to them because it’s just too difficult dealing with rude customer service for no apparent reason as a customer. Lastly, on the call, i still thanked her for her assistance (umph!) and all she said was “Mm-Mm and hung up. Horrible person, horrible attitude and horrible customer service!

Appalling customer service, they never let you know if there is an issue filling prescriptions "waiting for clairty" and contacts neither the doctor the patient. Have to call to check on your prescription, they tell you an hour you get there and they dont have it in stock. These people are completely useless.

I love shopping at the store. Every time we pick up out groceries we're always treated nicely. However the pharmacy, not so much. I tried to go to the drive-thru but I guess it was closed; then I go inside and they say it's never been sent after my wife explained her doctor ordered her prescription prior to that. I had to wait a few more days later only for them to say it's ready for pickup. Very unacceptable and they need to do better.

Everytime we go it’s a problem. A long wait….medicine not ready & the store manager helpless to give insight or help. I wish I could choose zero stars. Also the drive thru is always closed.I hope it gets better.

Love the Kroger. Hate the Pharmacy. Be prepared to wait in a long line and hope they have your medicine. I was told my medicine would be ready by my doctor only to come in and wait 10+ mins in line for them to tell me to come back the next day. Theres only ever 1 person checking ppl out and they're not friendly. Which is fine. I'm not really the friendliest either. But to be unfriendly and not informative is another thing. I had questions and the Pharmacy clerk did not have answers.I also tried to call ahead to verify if my prescription was available but they don't answer the phone either. Dont go to the drive thru. It wasnt open when I tried to avoid going inside.Get your perscrction filled elsewhere.
