THIS REVIEW IS GEARED TOWARDS THE PHARMACY. If you want to actually get your meds filled, DONT GO HERE. BESIDES being rude asf they always have an excuse why your meds take days. Supposedly they're so behind they can't refill meds the same day, even tho the meds are heart meds that can't be missed. Pharmacist claims they're way behind but that is not our fault nor problem when you're supposed to be reliable. And I've been 3x since moving to the area and each time there's an excuse, and it never makes sense. If you can't get it together within 90 days time maybe you need to change the way you're doing things. Prescription meds are important and not something people can just stop taking due to them not running things right. And calling to refill ahead of time is pointless due to their automated system being trash. If she can't keep up they need to get her help or hire someone who CAN keep up. Review will also be going in yelp and whatever else so deleting it is pointless.

They do not keep items in stock. Some of the fresh vegetable bins are empty. Iceberg lettuce hasn't been in stock for the past two weeks. Other common things they were out such as large tortilla packs, blue cat food, jumbo eggs, country orange juice. Checking out- only one person is working the checkout register, so I tried to self checkout. After 34 items, the register froze up and the register attendant couldn't get it to work, which I had to go to a different register and start all over again. I have been shopping at this Kroger for 26 years and it has been going downhill for the past five years. I will not shop Kroger again.

Pharmacist refused to fill my prescriptions saying she was too busy while I’m standing there in pain. Then she refused to give me her name

If it wasn't for Justin who was working the Self Check-Out lane, I would have never gotten to the end to pay for my groceries. It was not the User's fault as the POS & scale kept acting up on me. A few times over I would scan yet it wouldn't ring the product up & living by the Merit System, I/the POS had to illuminate the light for help. I have never seen a young person with such patience. Another note of satisfaction was my surprise to see the bountiful inventory of Vegan items, especially in this area. No dig as south Douglassville is not a Plant-Based city, more for the BBQ & such. I'm glad I helped myself to a large quantity of Daiya's new Burritos, as a meat-eater family member tried one & then ate another - where's the foodie respect? :-) The store is massive & well organized. Back to Self Check-Out, there's seem to be a floating employee in the near as a backup which definetly keeps the line moving.

I am very disappointed in the way I was treated at the krogers pharmacy on hospital drive in.douglasville, GA. I have been getting prescription. filled for over 5years. Today I call to check and see if my monthly prescription was ready. 1st the tech said it was expired and I have to call the doctor for a new prescription. I told him I just walk the new prescription in last (13July )Monday Then the tech said oh the insurance don't cover it so that's why it wasn't filled After telling the tech I get a discount for it and i pay Out put of pocket. . Tech tried to tell me I have to pay 70.00I explain no its only $ 12.29 a month. Then pharmacist refuse to fill it because she did not feel comfortable with filling the same prescription I get every month from them. After telling me to come up to the store and get my paper prescription back and take it somewhere else. After I. arrived to store I requested to spoke with the store manager in regards to how I was treated. Stephen the store manager didn't want hear anything I had to said and told me the pharmacist have a a license so he's going to go on her side. Number one there is no side to take it was a complaint I was making and as I explained to him she does not have the right to refuse to fill a prescription that the doctor gave me because she don't feel like right. Stephen refused to take the the complaint I told him that I will be writing and calling the corporate office on him. Stephen the store manager proceeded to tell me to get out of his store and he's calling the police on me I told him I'm waiting for them to give me my prescription back and then I will leave the store. It was no yelling they have a security guard at the door which the pharmacy it's probably about ten steps away from the front door . the guard never came back. to where we was. Calling the police on a customer b/c you don't agree with then or don't want to handle a customer complaint do not give the manager to use the police. Stephen had no reason to call the police on me.I feel like Stephen is prejudiced. I'm Black Muslim women . I will never return back to that store and I will be moving all of my prescription and business elsewhere. I will make sure my voice heard to as many people I can. Racist profiling is not cool.

well---let me say this.....I can honestly say that most of the negative reviews "seem" to be from African Americans who are being treated very badly from the Hwy 5 Douglasville store when you look at the reviews from that store and receiving less than professional service from that store which we DON'T deserve when we shell out our hard earned money to them... I am also an African American female and I am going to tell my negative experience as well when I visited 12/3/2019. I had trouble entering the produce number from my apples into their system. Called the self checkout associate, Karen over to assist. She rudely implied that I did not know how to ring it up correctly and when I insisted that I did, that this is not my first walk in the park with ANY Kroger and that their SYSTEM was the issue, she became argumentative and talked back and over me several times stating that I did something wrong. Is this chick AT WORK or AT HOME mouthing off to her kids ??? I asked for a supervisor, who seemed very non-caring about her very rude associate. At that moment a white man came over, feeling the need to jump into a private conversation between myself and that manager where it was absolutely NONE of his BUSINESS whatsoever and said to that manager "You know what she really wants, right ? What ALL black people want...her groceries paid for---a handout...He then turned to me and said "Would that make you feel better--that someone pay for your groceries?? Is that why you're complaining ??--to get something for free??"--(I'm going to just pause here and say I'm so glad I have the Lord in my life because he certainly kept me from going straight left side on that man)--The manager just stood there and let him mouth off to me, not once telling him to leave the store or bothering to come to my defense....I told them to void my 75.00 purchase, kept my money in my pocket and told them to put every single thing back on the shelves and walked myself right out of that store...As far as the ignorance of that idiot, I'm not worried about him..That punishment will be between him and his maker, so he's nothing but dirt under my shoe so I can just "scrape him off the bottom". As far as the associate and the manager at the store, that's what the DIVISION MANAGER is for---to fire folk who don't deserve nor appreciate that position and feel it necessary to openly disrespect the customers who PAY their hourly salary--(even he seemed non-caring when I spoke with him today 12/5/2019)--- but to have a Kroger manager sit back and "let" open racism and belittlement RIGHT to my face be ok and not tell that man to stop it or leave---- THAT is UNACCEPTABLE because as a manager, she CERTAINLY had the power to do so. If my money is no good at this corporation, Publix, Food Depot and Aldi will be more than happy to take my money with great customer service and a smile. They appreciate ALL customers and it SHOWS. The Hwy 5 Kroger looks trashy, smells trashy, attracts nosy customers with trashy attitudes and apparently hires trash. Step up your standards, my people. You work too hard for your money to give it to a store that clearly doesn't appreciate you...Let their mouth and horrible customer service earn them a front of the line unemployment spot because it will eventually happen. It's just a matter of time. What some people feel is ok to do or say to people or how they treat others, will always find it's way back to them...It's a double sided arrow...

This place consistently has the most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen. I almost got physically ill today going in there and it was first thing in the morning they should be cleaned. And now they're closing off the front bathroom so you're forced to go to the back bathroom disgusting disgusting disgusting.

ted in customer service should smile more. he bluntly refused to help me. For some one to specialize in customer service he sure doesn't put customers first. thanks to brittany she came out of her way & put me first like it should be done. Someone should speak with this young man regarding his behavior he's making the store have a bad reputation. I won't be returning.

I wish I could give this store a negative rating. I don't even know how they are still open! First off, it is dirty. There were flies all around the produce & bakery. There is also the weird chest back by the meat section with prepared food and big ice scoopers. Anyone can reach in and scoop from this thing. Something like this should not exist! I don't even want to think about how many dirty hands have reached in to touch the scoop or the food directly. Honestly, Kroger Corp needs to tear this place down and start again. I'll travel the extra miles to go to the Kroger on Chapel Hill from now on.

This place has poor customer service customer to say the least but Beth was working on aisle 11 Turning Away Black customers but was more than happy to turn her light on to assist the white ones I feel like she's a racist b 1 tch and shouldn't be working here. Ms. Lakeisha was more than helpful with bagging my groceries and very friendly Jennifer was my cashier she was very nice and friendly as well I appreciate both of them however Beth needs to move to the suburbs if that's how she feels about Ethiopian customers. I won't be spending my money here or any other Kroger's because of the way she treated me and other customers with beautiful black skin

This is a last minute Kroger. Like if all the other Krogers are closed or too far out, there is a zombie invasion and Godzilla has popped up and is crushing its way from Powder Springs. I go to the other Krogers on Chapel Hill and Hwy 5 and usually try and avoid this one. She needs love! LOVE!!! Lots of it! It's overly crowded, the parking lot is crazy!Full of people trying to push their way through people, cars and babies, YES BABIES! I tell you, drive at your own risk, shop at your own risk and avoid this area at night. This side is a little rougher than the others and ironically enough it is on the same street as the town hall areas.
