I went here to get my hair done for the first time ever and the prices ended up being ridiculous. If you have a new customer or returning customer, always make sure to walk them through the process along with the pricing. I dislike when people do your hair just to give you a bait and switch with the prices after. Don’t scam people. Put a menu at the front of the desk with a price break down and allow the person to pick and choose what they want. Or at least give people a sample of the products used, so they can go home with something extra with those crazy prices. Other than that, it was clean and they were on time, so I appreciated it. Remember that people trust you with their hair and want a price that reflects that. Don’t go around abusing that trust and scamming.

IF YOU RELAX YOUR HAIR AND YOU HAVE HAIR COLOR PLEASE BEWARE!!!I went to the salon for a touch up relaxer (went to Pamela) and it was great. Highly recommend her.Since getting it done, I got my hair colored (professionally). My usual stylist wasn't available to relax my hair and Pamela was booked so I went to another stylist in the salon. Ever since getting it relaxed again, my hair has been breaking off to a point where I may have to buzz cut my entire head.After talking to my usual stylist, she says they may not have used a relaxer that is meant for hair color. I should've asked more questions before I got it done, so I'm unsure of what kind they used on my hair that day. But all I know is, my hair has never broken off like this.If you have hair color and want to get it relaxed here, PLEASE ASK if they have relaxer for hair color FIRST.If you're getting a relaxer and you have your natural hair color at your roots, you should be fine. Again, I can't recommend Pamela enough.Otherwise PLEASE ASK before they do your hair. Or you'll end up having to cut off all your hair like I may have to.

This was the 1st time I used a JC Penney's salon. I took my daughter to see Ms. Nadine. She did an excellent job on my daughter's hair. I highly recommend her for natural thick long hair!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service! Their prices continue to change once you sit down.I went for hair color and trim, an older African American lady with short hair cut my hair horribly. I had to go to a different stylist to cut my hair the next morning. An inexperienced stylist will not even give such a horrible haircut. She told me that she would call for a follow up but she never did.STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM.

Too expensive for the service, you pay more regarding the stylist certification, yet you get the same service, make sure you know the stylist credentials, so to speak, because the price can vary $15 To $20. Again, the style may be the same or worse. Over a $100 for pretty much a blow out and a condition is a bit too much! It was last minute, so I had no choice, but beware, ask for the cost. It's not the same.

These guy's prices are so high for no reason literally just a basic 5 braids was over 100 dollars. Adding on the layering they do is so lazy and horrible I wouldn't recommend this place at all seriously go somewhere else you're being scammedServices: Hair extensions
