This is a great salon very clean and professional..Ms.Nana is definitely a great stylist who knows her hair.This was my first time going to the Salon and my experience was great.Ms.Nana is the best stylist and she is into healthy hair Iwill definitely be going back love it.

She has a great personality and spirit my twist came out better than I expected fast but neat work I'm hard to please and I was well pleased don't hesitate to come here she is the real deal!!!!

This was my first time going to this salon. The owner took good care of my hair. She took her time caring for my hair. She style my hair just the way I wanted her to. I love my hair style. I loved the service I received, I will return for more styles.

I keep telling Ms. Nana that her tagline should be "I grow hair". We have cut our hair to our ears, but within 18 months or less our hair was back and now it is longer than where we started. HEALTHY HAIR!!! I have seen damaged natural hair, chemically enhanced hair, chemo hair come through the doors of Impressions and I am mesmerized with the end results after a year. HEALTHY HAIR!!! I have gone from my mother's kitchen to many "professional hair stylist", but the depth of knowledge of the human body by Ms. Nana is astonishing. She takes the time to explain what is happening with your hair, scalp and skin in a layman's term and provides you with the necessary products to maintain your body while you are away from Impressions. She is not just HEALTHY HAIR; she is HEALTY BODY & SOUL.

In late August 2014, I visited Impressions Hair Salon to get Havana Twists. I was told, by the owner, to buy a certain type of hair for the style. After 4 hours of styling, the job was finally complete-little to my knowledge, it wasn't done well. I went home that evening, only to realize that my twists were unraveling. I called Ms. Nana, who installed my twists and who's also the owner of the salon, and she told me to stop by so she could "fix" them. I came back to the salon, expecting my hair would be corrected, considering the fact that I paid over $100 for the style, along with the hair. The NEXT day, I noticed my twists were STILL unraveling. I dipped the ends into hot water, as I was told to do by the owner, as an effort to "seal" the ends of the hair. No luck. So, I went back to her the day after. It was upon my arrival that I was told by Ms. Nana that she could not redo my hair. That is when I asked for a refund and she refused. (Don't let me fail to mention that NOWHERE in the salon was there any signs stating that she didn't offer refunds.) I left and went to another salon as an attempt to get the style corrected. It was there that I was told that the job was very messy (obviously) and even the wrong hair was used! Little to my surprise, the twists began to fall out, ONE WEEK after they were installed, guys. This style was supposed to last 2-3 months. Needless to say, I WOULD NOT recommend going to this salon. I tried to save money and gas, however, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

Having been a client's of Ms.Nana's, the warm personable owner of Impression Hair Care & Spa Serene for the past 14 plus years, I've found that she is so versatile in whatever hair and other services needed. Ms.Nana & staff does it all! From a relaxer to cold wave permanents, even prom updo's, Nana and her staff also do nails and spa services. I find the Highway 5 location very relaxing, clean and beautifully decorated. Ms.Nana even makes sure she has the most modern tools and equipment including the new professional Redken's steam flat iron. My hair stayed glossy and straight for well over a week! Additionally, Ms.Nana and her staff keep on top of their skills by attending workshops in and out of town. If you're looking for a professional establishment that does it all in the beauty business, please check out this special gem in Douglasville, GA. You won't be sorry.....

Fantastic! They have the absolute best Massage Therapist I have ever experienced and the staff is diverse, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable!!!! I highly recommend this place to all that seek a little escape from the day to day stresses of life!
