I just have to say I was impressed by this place. They didn't try to over charge like most do, and their customer service was Amazing. Go see them and let Ms.Traci and Bobby take great care of you too!

My Jeep was towed into fairburn rd transmission on Sept 23, 2024 because the gear shift wasn't working. On the next day I was told that they found other stuff wrong with it and the cost would be 2300.00. I went ahead and gave permission to do the work even though the problem was the gear shift! I was called about 4:30 the same afternoon and was told that my Jeep was ready for pickup and they could put the keys in the floorboard. I chose to wait till Wednesday morning but was told I needed to pay over the phone. My husband and I went to pickup my jeep on Wednesday Sept 25 and I was shocked to see my jeep not even ready, I was told by the mechanic that it would be another 2 hours before it would be ready!! First of all I don't like paying for something that's not even finished, second the women in the office could have given me a courtesy call saying the Jeep wasn't ready!!! But instead of being courteous to the customer and taking a minute to let me know not to come pick up my vehicle we had to hang out in douglasville for 2.5 hours to wait on my Jeep to be fixed. We requested twice to speak to the owner but he has yet to call, excuse was he had a tooth pulled. I've have teeth pulled recently and I went about my business as usual. I found out that the original owner had sold his business and retired and I read reviews yesterday about the new owner and there are several other people who are not happy. I will be calling the person who recommended Fairburn transmission and letting them know what has happened to me!!

I have had nothing but a great experience with these folks. I’ve talked with, worked with and dealt with shops and mechanics of all kinds and these folks have been nothing but honest and upfront with me. I’ll definitely be doing business with them in the future.

This place saved me a ton of money! I had my minivan at a different transmission shop and they told me that my transmission was shot and it would cost $3000 for a new one. I took it to Bobby at Fairburn Rd Transmission, and was back on the road in a day and for a little over $100! All it ended up being was a speed sensor! If I hadn't gotten the 2nd opinion, I would've probably shelled out 3 grand for a transmission that wasn't needed. Thank God for Bobby and his honesty and integrity! Customer service at Fairburn Rd Transmission is top notch!!

This is the new owner PROCARE!!!Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! DO NOT USE!!! THIS PLACE IS GOING TO BE SUED-WE HAD TO GET THE POLICE TO REMOVE OUR Vehicle they had our Dodge Ram 2500 for 40 days and then told us they couldn't fix it. Had to get it towed to another shop after 40days!!!

If you're looking for an honest and fair transmission shop, then look no further. The owner is very knowledgeable and will get you in and out in a timely fashion. I never felt jerked around and didnt get pressured into getting anything i didn't need.

Place was great!!!! They were recommended to me by another great place RPM. Once again I could have been hosed for a litany of things but he told me before I left (Randy) what he thought it was . Ready the next day shifting and running flawless without monetarily killing me. Highly recommend. Thank God for these guys and RPM
