I wish that I could give this office more than 5 stars. Dr.Cohn has been amazing with both of my dogs. Both of my pets have had to have pretty scary surgeries, and Douglas Oaks always takes the absolute best care of my babies! Dr.Cohn is great at explaining every detail in a short and simple way, always caring and professional! I would recommend this vet to everyone.

I started coming to this office 2 years ago with my cat, Coconut. We’ve been in with her several times and not once have I ever left unsatisfied. I recently had to bring my dog, Poppy in as a new “patient” ? and was a bit nervous as my dog has been iffy (in the past) towards men she didn’t know. My nerves were all over the place, however, Brandy (the wonderful vet tech) came out to bring us in the office. Dr Cohn came in shortly after. They were both so great with my dog. I mentioned to Dr. Cohn that the way he handles his practice was one of the many reasons I recommend him to everyone I know. I drive more than 30 minutes to come to this office, but would drive an hour if I needed to. I have and will continue to recommend Douglas Oak Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a new vet!

As a first-time dog mom to our Frenchie, Sloane, I can't say enough great things about Douglas Oaks! The entire staff is so warm, welcoming, and patient. They never make me feel silly for asking a million questions, and they’re always happy to explain everything in detail. Sloane loves visiting with everyone at the office, lol.
Recently, Sloane had a medical emergency, and Dr. Cohn and the team were incredible. They were with us every step of the way, genuinely caring and comforting during such a stressful time. They went above and beyond to make sure Sloane got the surgical care he needed, and I’m so grateful for their kindness and dedication. If you're looking for a vet that treats you and your pet like family, this is the place to go!

Did not receive services because how unprofessional this business was. Had to pay before they would release my dog then the vet followed us to our car. We disputed the bill with our bank and after they investigated everything reversed the charges. We just received a collection letter in the mail due to them saying we had an overdue bill. We had to put our dog to sleep the day after visiting this office. The other vet did test and determined she was very sick when this vet said nothing was wrong after just looking at her to charge us an office visit. It's sad they even have a medical license to treat animals.

The entire staff at this clinic is extremely nice and caring. I have brought several of my pets to the clinic and trust them 100%. The veterinarians are very thorough and patient. Thanks to Dr. Cohen my 11-year-old Siberian is still doing well after she was diagnosed with mammary cancer 2 years ago. We had other procedures done as well as lab work etc. My male had a dental done recently, and I am extremely happy with the results. Douglas Oaks is always there when needed, and I really appreciate it.
We saw Dr. Acree today, and she spend a lot of time with my 5-month-old puppy trying to figure out why she was limping. Thankfully nothing was wrong with my puppy after she got a thorough exam (and cookies). Dr. Acree is also super nice and very knowledgable.
I highly recommend Douglas Oaks!!!

I have been a dog owner > 20 years. i have had several vets in that time. when my original vet retired i had to find a new vet and it was nerver racking beacuse i have multiple dogs. Douglas Oaks Veterinary in Douglasville was near me so gave them a shot. The experience was outstanding! I have now been comming here for ~3 yrs. The staff is caring and compassionate! The office is clean. They have awesome hours. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Cohn to anyone.

Douglas Oaks is an amazing vet. We have been a client for over 20 years and they always take great care of our pets and have very affordable prices. The doctor and team are amazing and provide wonderful customer service. I highly recommend using Douglas Oaks for all your pet needs.

Rather than offer solutions this doctor wants to argue, correct, and make excuses for poor business ethics.

My baby only 3 pounds was throwing up and wouldn’t eat after getting spayed by another place 4 days before. I was so concerned. Dr. Cohn fit us in. Everyone was nice and comforting. Offered different payment options. 24 hours later. My baby is back to herself. Thanks to Dr. Cohn and staff.
