So disappointed in my visit today at the Chapel Hill Rd. location in Douglasville. We love going to Five Below but this trip was a true representation of where the Brick & Mortar stores are headed I’m afraid. While shopping with my 2yr. old niece my sister moved one of the stock carts over for them to slip by and look on another aisle and the employees stocking the shelves began talking about her and “how rude some people are and can’t she see they are working” when my sister asked her if she was talking about her, the employee ignored her and then proceeded to shout from the back to the front of the store for the manager. After a brief discussion with the manager (who hesitated to give her name if we were going to report her), told us that she would speak to employee in private. I know that help is hard to find but Five Below come on, the employees don’t have name tags, shirts to wear to provide identification, where is the professionalism? What is happening to having employees with some degree of interpersonal skills? Are there no qualifications to be on the floor working around customers? On another note, apparently the bathroom is out of order. We were told by an employee and then by the manager that because the stock room is so small that they have to use the bathroom to store product, thus not safe for customers to use so prior to this incident we had to leave and go up to PetSmart (who graciously allowed my niece to use theirs).

I have visited this store for a few years now and never had a rude experience at this store. What I witnessed at this store this past Friday 1/12/24 was just shocking! RUDE customer service! Only ONE cashier while about 40 to 50 customers stand in line with a line completely down the aisle! I stood in the line for at least 10 min.with no movement of the line. Finally a man yelled out, "why don't you open another line, there's about 184 people in line." An exaggeration of course but we all could understand his frustration. Instead of an apology & just getting someone else to open another line, the cashier replied back with an attitude yelling back that she was the only person there, she said she was the manager, if he didn't like it he could go somewhere else. WOW!!! I have NEVER EVER heard a manager be so rude & tell a customer to leave or take his business somewhere else! And she said that she was the mgr!!! So after the back & forth arguing with the customer for suggesting the obvious someone did open another register. A young man looked to be in his early 20's had an attitude also, started arguing with the customer, & said that he would call the police!!!! The police?!!! FOR WHAT? Because a customer was upset & suggested to open another register? Many of us who witnessed that was just shocked! I even thought of doing the exact same thing telling them to open another register, because it was just ridiculous the lousy customer service! And now an attitude from the manager? When we left the young fella was on the phone appearing to be calling the police on this customer simply because he was a bit upset & suggested that another cashier open a line! I WAS UPSET, & MANY OTHERS WERE TOO! Way too long of a wait! Just shocked & still cannot believe what I saw! Dollar Tree's corporate office need to get rid of that very rude manager & the fella who was calling the police on a customer! I usually shop there for office supplies for my business, but do not intend to visit that store again! Quite frankly, I believe that gentleman was treated so disrespectfully because he was an African American. Had I or a white gentleman made the same suggestion,I do not believe we would've gotten the same response! That is racial discrimnaiton! The young man who said that he would call the police appeared to be a black hispanic! So that was confusing! This is how some innocent black men loose their lives! Calling the police when it's not necessary. All that was needed was an apology & have another cashier check us out! PERIOD! The really BAD ATTITUDES were just so unnecessary! Dollar Tree need to take more time in it's hiring of employees! TRAIN them how to treat it's customers! ALL CUSTOMERS!! At this point I no longer care about saving money at Dollar Tree! That poor man DID NOT deserve to be treated that way! I will no longer waste my money in that store & will tell my business associates about this ordeal! JESUS CHRIST! Just UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I went to this store yesterday, while waiting for my physical therapy appointment. The store was in such disarray. There were shopping carts full of merchandise blocking aisles, freight stacked everywhere. All of the aisles could use some serious zoning. I didn't stay long to shop, because it was so messy. I only bought three items, couldn't wait to get out of that mess. I saw one male stocking on the paper aisle, and two cashiers. One standing around doing nothing. The cashier that checked me out was very friendly.I hope, if I ever decide to stop to shop there again, that someone takes pride in having a clean and organized store.

I visit the Dollar Tree weekly. This location is always out of helium so don't go there for balloons. It's not as clean as I've seen in Peachtree City. Not all Dollar Trees have the same standards. Let the pics speak for themselves.

The cashier today was T and she was the best yet. She bagged the food items separately and for me that was a rare occasion. Great store and customer service ?

This Dollar Tree location is notorious for only having 1 cashier with the line backed into an aisle. Other employees will see it and every once in a while jump in to help but most times will keep doing whatever they were. As expected, this is a no frills kind of store with some good items and even a lot of brand names but they may be smaller in size or now under the higher priced section. It's worth it to take a look before shelling out more money for the same thing at a big box store.
