Overcharged on my auto work. Tells you one thing is wrong with your car and once he takes the car apart he tells you it needs something else in order for the issue to be fixed increasing the price way more $$$$. Please Beware. Please check out other quotes in the area before getting your car fixed here. I called around after my car was fixed and
found out I was quoted $600 more with Mark at Collins Auto shop after my car had already been taking apart. Slick at the mouth con artist. Wants you to feel sad for him by giving you a sad life story about his shop burning down and personal life, and turns around and con people. HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND!!!!

It’s difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic. But the owner is a standup individual who will properly diagnose problems on your older vehicle and not add unnecessary stuff or take advantage of your mechanical ignorance. My only minor gripe is that they consistently give you timeframes for repairs, then go over it by several hours or even days. So be ready for that.

My alternator went out in March. I took it to Mark, and he claims that he replaced it. My alternator has already went out in seven months. This is the second issue I have had with him in less than a year. I will never take my car to him again.

Went above and beyond to ensure I was safe on the road. Easily pointed out errors by the last mechanic in layman terms.

Do not go the this shop!!! Repeat, do not go to this shop!!!! Mark has no concept of time and does not follow instructions. Will repair parts on your vehicle that you never asked him to work on, and still does not resolve the issue at hand. A pure waste of my time. I would give him no stars if I could. He makes up excuses and will overcharge you. BEWARE OF THIS SHADY MECHANIC!!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO MARK COLLINS!!!! Mark is unprofessional, rude, and dishonest!! MARK IS A SCAMMER AND A FRAUDULENT MAN WHO CANNOT BE TRUSTED!! I should have looked at the other reviews before I took my car to him!! Mark Collins, the owner, had my truck for an entire week to fix an oil leak. He spent 3 days just trying to get a screw off...that was a bad sign right there. Every time we called him about the status of my truck, he had a different excuse as to why it was not ready. After 7 days I told him I needed my truck and we went to pick it up. He told us he had fixed the oil leak, but when I put the key in the ignition, the check engine light was now on and it was not on before. He was confused and could not figure out why the check engine light was on. We were there for an additional 3 hours waiting for him to figure out why the check engine light was on. We brought it back the next day to fix the new problem he created...he then said it was the O2 sensor. He told us that he put a brand new O2 sensor on my truck and that the light should go off. The check engine light NEVER went off. When we got my truck home the same day, my truck would no longer start and Mark came to my house to see what was wrong. Mark still had no clue why my truck was now not running. Mark also charged us an additional $500 from the price he initially quoted us stating that he had to charge for his additional time, the time that was his fault because he made the check engine light come on. Mark is a SCAMMER AND A FRAUD AND SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED!! If you value your car and money do not take your car to Collins Auto in Douglasville. Additionally, we took my truck to a more reputable and capable mechanic who told us that the O2 was never changed and that it was the old O2 sensor still on my truck. The mechanic took it off and showed us how old and worn it was. But Mark Collins lied and said he replaced the O2 sensor and charged us for a brand new O2 sensor. We paid over 1K for my truck repair with Mark and still had issues. We called him and told him what the mechanic who actually fixed my truck said about him NOT replacing the O2 sensor. He didn't even deny that he lied to us. He charged us for a part and service that he never put on my truck. He then told us to bring him the receipt for our repair work, which was an additional $300 from the other mechanic. He said he would reimburse us, but when we went to his shop, he only reimbursed us less than half of the $300. Mark also makes up prices along the way, as opposed to having a standard pricing list. Mark yelled and cursed at me in person and on the phone. My husband had to call him to handle that situation. He ruins cars and refuses to correct the issue!! Please read his reviews, all of them, not the ones that he had people make up on his behalf to make him look good!! He is the ABSOLUTE WORST MECHANIC I've ever encountered. He is very argumentative and combative!!! When he had to come to my house to see why my truck wouldn't start, he attempted to be nice and made up some story stating that it was a reason for us meeting, and some other weird story. He's a con artist and a jack legged preacher.

Bought brake pads, they put the brakes on.. then say the sensors are wrong and send me back to get more sensors and charge me another diagnostic fee without reasoning. Then mark (owner) disrespects come for not getting the right part but they installed it (verifying it’s the correct part)Advance auto parts and o’reilly are familiar w their service and sadly it’s terrible when you do all that and start MY car without leaving the key in the car leaving me to spend another $70 to get my key via uber to start it back up in atlantaMark doesn’t value customer service or satisfaction all future customers beware!!Services: Brakes

Do not trust Collin! He will rip people off especially women. Be ware. He charged 4 times the amount and blamed it on inflation. When I did my own research and figure out He was overcharging me by $800. Upset and vedictive, he supposedly repaired the car. Collin did not bolt the "new parts" in car causing further damage. The car was rattling and making loud noises. I had to take the car to another mechanic. He replaced parts with used parts from other cars and tell you it's new, he will have you waste your time driving back and forth to his shop, charging you fees for services not done. When address about these issues, he is rude and dismissive. Please do not use him. He will ruin your car causing you to return and charge you for other issues. He gives Jamaicans a bad name. His negligence caused me thousands of dollars. He will be reported to BBB.Services: A/C installation & repair
