The store layout was not very convenient. The entrance was cluttered with very little room to get in or out. Getting to the cash register was also a bit of a challenge. They might have some construction going on or something right now and maybe that's why it was like it was. Other than that, a typical bath and body works store. Lots of options and the staff were friendly.

Tried to shop at the store on 12/10 and saw that one side was closed. I approached the opposite side and was met by an associate that expressed the store was closed. The time was 6:34 p.m. I asked was the store closed and the associate expressed yes. I expressed the store hours being until 7pm and was informed those were the mall hours and the store closed at 6pm. I called the store and was told by an associate that the store closed at 7pm. I drove 45 minutes to purchase gifts for the holidays and was turned around when the store wasn’t closed.

The store shopping experience and customer service were lacking. I purchased 24 candles on candle-day and requested an extra fabric bag. “One bag per customer” and “there’s no excuses “ I was told. Customers who purchased 3-4 candles were also given a bag. It would make more business sense that fabric bags should be handed out based on the number of products being purchased. 12 candles require a more sturdy bag in comparison to 3-4. I’m not sure this policy applies to all stores but it needs to be changed.Cashier could brush up the customer service skill. No greetings and saying “thank you” are unacceptable. Exhaustion and annoyance due to the busy event shouldn’t reflect on customers. Customers come into a store to shop not only for good products but the customer service is equally important. Hopefully the feedbacks bring attention to management and the issues will be improved.

After receiving the wrong online order and having a bad experience with online customer service. Cam and her coworkers at the Douglasville location gave me EXCELLENT service and resolved the problem. Thank you for showing that great customer service is still there.

Black girl w/the painted on eye brows @the register colorist & rude AF every time. All registers should be available on Black Friday instead of having PPL wait in line forever. Store was a chaotic mess, never again.

I wouldn’t recommend working here. Especially if you don’t have a backbone, string enough to say no, or a people pleaser. Temporary managers will suggest unsafe and non work-related services without even asking you. I remember working there and a customer asked a temporary manager by the name of Brianna if they, the store, can take candles to her car. It was during a candle sale. Brianna exited my login on the cash register and told me to take the candles to the woman’s car. Not knowing if the woman is a killer, a thief, etc. And didn’t even ask me to do so. I didn’t even thank me after the fact when I did so. I didn’t apply to Bath and BodyWorks at the time to be anyone’s candle chauffeur. Just because someone is a manager doesn’t mean they know how to manage. So I may say I could have easily said no and take the risk of getting fired, but at the time I didn’t wanna take that risk. Looking back at it now, I should’ve stood up for myself I said no, and took that chance of getting fired. People let their personal emotions, as well as their authority, overpower their professionalism.
