Edit: Just realized I didn’t have a review on here as I was sending a recommendation to a friend- Christian assisted me with a Toyota Avalon & later a Nissan Versa that were lifesavers in the years I drove them.
I went to a frustrating amount of dealers and private sellers beforehand that gave me pressure, runaround, and tried to scam me with lemons, Cobalt’s extremely honest to-the-point advertising/disclosures and relaxed (but helpful!) attitude on the lot makes them the immediate recommendation I give to friends in the market for an affordable AND reliable vehicle.
Thanks guys- truly a rarity and gem in the city.

I was sold a vehicle missing tire lugs! I drove it from GA to OK like that. It's amazing the wheel didn't fall off!
I know it was sold that way because it caused a bubble to form & had to put the spare on, which was bald & showing steel. And it was driven 20 miles to the tire shop. It only had 3 lugs. I have pictures. They didn't just come off. You sold it that way.

Quick transaction for the car seller was honest about issues in ad, bought a 2010 ford focus mechanics special for 580$, replaced water pump and it drives just fine now. They even helped me load it on my trailer and let us drive the car to see it shift and make sure that the engine was fine. Would buy another car from these folks.

Our son got into in an accident and given the age of the car, insurance totaled it. That put us in a bit of a pickle seeing as we were moving out of the country in 4 months. So we basically needed a disposable car. Enter Cobalt cars. We found a Chevy Cavalier on their website for $1,500 which they called their hooptie special. We took it for a test drive and were surprised to see the instrument panel was not working. That was not mentioned in their ad or when we were looking at it in the lot. Upon our return we mentioned this and were told Oh yeah that went out a couple of weeks ago. The omission could've been a simple mistake. We tried to get them to discount the car because of this but they said no because the line of margin is so slim on these cars to begin with. Fair enough. While my husband was signing the paperwork my son and I found a YouTube video on how to take the dash apart to see if it was just loose wiring causing the panel to not work. We also found replacement panels to buy just in case. The whole transaction took less than an hour. When we got home my son followed the video and disassembled everything. With a disconnect of the panel, a quick shot of compressed air and reconnect, he was able to get it to work! With the working instrument panel and the addition of a bumper sticker that says "Honk if Parts Fall Off" :) we're hoping that this little Hooptie will make it the 4 months we need it to. Cobalt cars came through for us in a pinch. All in all, it was a pleasant experience from start to finish.

I love this place, will definitely buy again, I bought a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe, 100k miles in 2021 for $3700 and it just went out on me at 185k miles.. I’ve been back and forth from Atlanta to Michigan in it 5 Roundtrips with no issues, also doing Uber eats and doordash in it.. with only about $1500 in repairs done over the time I’ve had it.. had to part ways from it and upgrade but it’s been a great car for me, and great people to get it from especially when I needed them the most! I can’t wait to get another car from chris for my baby sister going off to college! I highly recommend them to anyone!

Chris was very courteous gave me extra pictures upon request. His description of the car was accurate. The lot is nestled away off the main road and has that good old boy charm. I will continue to monitor this lot for great deals.

Bought a 1995 Ford Econoline Van with the goal of turning it into a camper van. Best deal on a van I’ve seen since the 90s. Lol. These guys are great. They’re very honest and funny. They don’t sugarcoat anything which is a breath of fresh air when it comes to making a large purchase such as a car. Their prices are extremely fair. They’re more than willing to help and will be honest about what they know about the vehicle and will offer advice. 10/10. Would buy from them again and would love to be invited to one of their family functions. Lol

I’m surprise these people have 3 stars. The owner is very rude and unprofessional the son is a good guy but plz let this be the last place you shop for car. If u read some of these reviews you can see the owner rudeness in the comments. And he’s going to tell you somethings wrong with your car without telling you what’s actually wrong with the car . Terrible!!!

Well I called to inquire about a car and because the number on the auto trader site was different than the dealership site I wanted to make sure that I was not bothering the wrong person about the car and that was too much apparently as after this I was met with a very rude attitude even though I was genuinly interested in coming to test drive it and most likely buy it.I have no clue what I did to receive such attitude and being hung up on.Edit: What even in the name of english language is that first sentence and everytime I did ask you you either just ignored it or said something stupidly rude, like I wanted to buy really buy the car I am not trying to be difficult but you acting like a child like you have called many other customers and then hanging up really dont help this interaction.
