The restaurant does a good job of serving delicious food. But I have an obnoxious experience with the grocery part of the shop. They do not take the expired products out, and unless you check, you will consume those unknowingly.

I love this place. Employees are very friendly. You can get authentic Bangladeshi food and groceries. They make both Kacchi Biryani and Hajir Biryani but on different date, I suggest to call them before to know which one. They have comfortable parking and pray area.

The food was amazing. The biryani to the fish to the beef. Best Bangladeshi food. As a person who was born and raised from Brooklyn. This was the closest to family cooking. From the quantity to the quality. Home cooking. ❤️

This is great! One time though, we are here and believed they gave expired biryani since I came with family and my father got food poisoning shortly after. He's alright now. The service is excellent! Staff members are very friendly and funny! Also, did I forget? They give free Quran! Alhamduillah. Overall, excellent!? Just make sure not to give expired food, haha!
Parking: Parking is good, just get some more parkings and that's all!

Went specifically for fresh Bangladeshi sweets. All Mithai was either from New York or frozen from Bangladesh, pretty decent to good, kala Jamun being better of the four we bought. Sadly, they don't make any fresh sweets, except Jalebi, which was truly the worst. It only looked like Jalebi but it was dry and more of a funnel cake which you get in State fairs! Had to throw it in the garbage. Sorry! Please make real Jalebis. Thx.

I recently visited this international grocery store and restaurant in Atlanta, and overall, it was a good experience. One of the highlights was the vibrant gathering of Bangladeshi people, which added to the authentic atmosphere. The store offers a variety of snacks, food, and fish that you can purchase. I would like to recommend a few brands that stood out to me: for Puffed rice (Muri), I enjoyed the G.R. Brand, and for Chanachur, both Sagar and Mejbani were great options. If you're a fan of cookies, I highly suggest trying the Tip Salted biscuits. In terms of fresh produce, they had a selection of vegetables such as bottle gourd (lau), malabar spinach (pui shak), and Eddoe (mukhi). However, I deducted one star from my rating because some of the items were not as fresh as I had hoped. On the bright side, the mangoes, likely imported from Mexico, were of good quality. One area where this store could improve is its Point of Sale system. It would be beneficial for them to update it with online ordering capabilities and a dedicated app. I noticed that other similar grocery stores in the area use ORO POS and Menugreat, allowing customers to place orders online. This upgrade would provide added convenience for shoppers. The staff at the store were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They were willing to process chicken, beef, and fish without any additional charge, which was a nice gesture. While tipping is not mandatory, I would recommend showing your appreciation for their service.Don't miss the opportunity to dine at their restaurant, especially for their Biriyani and Beef Tehari. Additionally, if you're a fan of Hilsha fish, I highly recommend trying their hilsha fish fry instead of cooking it yourself. Lastly, before leaving, make sure to indulge in their delicious milk tea.Overall, this international grocery store and restaurant in Atlanta offers a great variety of products and a welcoming atmosphere. With a few updates, such as online ordering options, it has the potential to enhance the overall customer experience

We went to dinner today and it was a nice experience. The owner is a really nice guy and was very welcoming and provided great service. Regarding the food, chicken biriyani is really good and we enjoyed it the most !!! Goat biriyani was ok but the meat was super tender and very fresh and delicious. Good value for the money!!!

I recently ordered takeout from Al-Amin Supermarket & Restaurant, and I must say that my experience was a mix of highs and lows. Let me break it down based on the items I ordered.**Hilsha fish:** The Hilsha fish dish left me disappointed. Although the taste was decent, I was taken aback to find that half of the fish pieces were the smallest portions right before the tail. This made the overall presentation unappealing and diminished the enjoyment of the dish. I would rate the taste as a 3 out of 5.**Rice:** Unfortunately, Al-Amin served low-quality rice instead of the expected Basmati rice. The use of subpar rice significantly affected the overall meal experience, as the quality of rice plays a vital role in a satisfying dining experience.**Dal or Lentil:** On a positive note, the Dal or Lentil dish was enjoyable, offering a good balance of flavors and tastiness.**Chotpoti:** The Chotpoti stood out as one of the highlights of the order. It had a generous portion size and delivered a delicious and flavorful experience.**Moghlai Porota and Samosa:** Without a doubt, the Moghlai Porota and Samosa were the best items on the menu. These dishes were undoubtedly the stars of the meal, leaving me impressed and satisfied.**Packaging:** Sadly, the packaging left much to be desired. The low quality of packaging resulted in half of the food being improperly packed, which is unacceptable for a takeout order. This oversight affected the overall presentation and freshness of the dishes.Considering my experience at Al-Amin Supermarket & Restaurant, I would rate it as an average establishment. While some dishes were tasty and impressive, the shortcomings in the quality of rice, fish portions, and packaging were major drawbacks. If another restaurant, such as Purnima, is available as an option, I would be inclined to recommend that over Al-Amin.In conclusion, Al-Amin Supermarket & Restaurant has the potential to improve its overall dining experience by addressing the issues mentioned above. With some necessary improvements, it could become a more competitive and attractive option for customers seeking a satisfactory dining experience.

On my visit. I rec'd no greeting, no warmth in welcoming me asa customer. I dressed appropriately, appearing to be a traveler in fact as I had my knapsack nd shaving bag. Yet, the man atda register came off snarly, looking away from me when I sort eye contact, he then walk off when I reached for a menu w/o him inviting me 2c one. I gave the food 3stars bc I know east indian cuisine 2b good. I have west indian roots nd im raised in nyc with a world of flava unda one's nose, so I know taste. I rec'd the impression if one isn't east indian r affiliated, ur not welcome, so I didn't eat nd won't be back. For those who favor respect nd good indian cuisine, try my good friends inda dwtown area at Aamar. They'll serve yu up luvli with a smile.

Al Amin, One of the worse customer service from the cutting guy. No respect towards people from other religious. I asked to clean his cutting machine before he cuts my fish and the answer he gave me all Hindus eat beef. Which I felt very discriminated and insulted. Not all the Hindus eat beef since it’s our religion secret. Also, the size of the cutting fish is terrible. I do feel like they switch my fish and didn’t give me the one I picked or put some pieces away. Never ever will go to the place again. Also the guy had full mouth of paan when he was talking, unable to understand him and felt very disgusted.

EAT THE SAMOSAS! Oh my goodness I order at least 20 at a time of their spicy chicken samosas. They are the best meat samosas that I have had in any place I have been to so far. DO NOT FORGET THE TAMARIND SUACE. It really enhances the already delicious samosas. I see the size of the samosas have gotten smaller (I will blame inflation...). Hopefully they do not get even smaller and become bite sized. I like the biriyani too. The flavor is light but I cannot get enough of it for some reason. Goat and chicken biriyani both tasty. The people who work here are super nice as well.
