If only Yelp had 6 stars to rate this awesome Subaru Service and Repair shop. I have only had a couple of minor needs so far on my Subaru but feel so lucky to have Six Star available to take care of them. The time frame is amazingly fast from making the appointment to getting in and out. Even obscure parts like sun visor replacement was done from online appt booking to finished in less than a week. They estimated an hour. I added oil change. Still an hour. They added a necessary belt. And, still, I was in and out in one hour! There were plenty of other cars waiting to be serviced, so they really keep your appointment time, regardless. Happy to recommend this jewel of a shop, right across from Dekalb Farmers Market.

I took my 2018 Outback in for regular service and the guys were great. The waiting room is pleasant and the bathroom was nice; clean. I made an appointment a few weeks ahead so I stayed about an hour while they did my service checkup. They are very knowledgeable about Subarus - that's all they do. Very pleased and relieved not to have to deal with the dealer's service center. The experience was calm and comfortable. Very pleased.

I am going to start this review process with a disclaimer...I have thought long and hard about expressing myself with regards to my experience as a former 6 star customer...that said, let me begin. Have you ever come across used car owners or service advisors who brag and gloat about how many hundreds of thousands of miles they have on their cars? Subaru owners in particular. For nearly the past 5 years give or take and minus the pandemic era, I have battled with dealerships and service centers while trying to keep my 2006 Outback running good. My theory is that if you can make a human connection with the service "advisors", you can built trust and confidence. This tactic and process have proven futile at best. After years of frustration, theft, shabby repairs and dare I say thousands of dollars, I decided to take my Subaru to Six Star. I made contact vis phone.I never showed up in person and always paid my bill in full.I avoided showing up in person because I knew that once I did, the bias barrier would break. The discrimination would arise...for years, I did this....I started noticing little things not being done after routine services...fluids not topped off, telling me that my dashcam "fell off, hood wouldn't close and the latch being broke...things I started noticing that should've been checked, brought up or told to me but weren't. This place is not close and about an good 45 min drive or more each visit...they claim that the loaners were always either unavailable or not permitted for me because I live outside of their insurance coverage area...bullshit. So I fast forward to 2022...care not driven much due to me traveling out of town for work...I realize that the suspension, radiator and fuel tank need to be addressed. So for the first time and against my better judgment, I decide to make an appointment and drop the car off in person. I show up and for the first time and after years of patronage as a high paying Customer, I meet Rob. I introduce myself with anticipation of some sort of maybe something resembling appreciation and within close proximity to Andy. I've spoken to this guy 50 times over the phone yet nothing short of crickets...nothing.and at that moment I knew what I knew all along...bias,prejudice and indifferent has landed.I hid for years from these fu*ckers becuase I knew that the minimum would be given to the face of a black customer...I was there addressing issues that in my opinion should have been noticed and not to mention some of which included prior repairs...My mistrust confirmed and in-person, I was all of a sudden told that my repairs wernt with the money. Sell the car and it'll only get worse, take it to car max etc. I could only wonder how many non black Subaru customer leave six star with unremarkable vehicles?? Yeah, the situation causes one such as myself to battle with these questions. How many non black Subaru customer recieve a damn text message for an estimate on repairs or have their number block becuase they don't want to take your call? I bet none! I bet they all have nothing but smiles...high miles and excellent CS...This is the end for me...former customer! You can continue to wonder why some of always claim that shits racial out here...becuase I haven't seen otherwise yet!

My Subaru has over 150.000 miles and is still going strong, thanks to all of the guys at Six Star Subaru. They serviced my car for years now, and I can truly say I never had ANY reason to complain at all. From Justin, the owner, to Andy, to Rob and several others, over the years they have always been skilled, thorough, and super pleasant in their work. Most recently, (3/1/22) Rob did the 150.000 mile checkup, and within a day, he had my car ready and rolling smoothly now. It feels like it can go towards 200.000. He even found a good deal on new tires for me. Six Star is really the best!!!

I've been having my Subaru Outback serviced at Six Star for the past few years and I would never go anywhere else for 5 star service. They are completely transparent about what's required, what it will cost and Andy and team are really easy to work with. I strongly encourage Subaru owners to use Six Star as the quality is excellent and the experience is painless. Thanks Andy !

Just got work done here and was extremely pleased. Needed brakes, but knew there were other issues. They identified them and gave me options on what to prioritize. They were professional and treated me very well. Will definitely go back.

On May 6, 2021, I had my 2004 Forester in for service: a rear wheel bearing was going out on this 130K mileage car I call "Loretta". I was surprised that Andy at the service check-in counter said they were going to loan me a 2012 Forester while my was to be fixed. That was a pleasant surprise since they were a little back-logged with cars and didn't know how long a wait till mine was serviced. Well...just several hours it took and the car, like the several other times I've brought "Loretta" in for service was done right as usual. She runs much quieter and seems to still have plenty of life in it. Plan soon to detail wax the car and be taking it on a long road trip this fall to Indy for my delayed 50 year high school reunion. I will be selling "Loretta" sometime next year for another Forester. Maybe, Subaru will have a turbo engine, again, for the Forester. That intrigues me. Thanks Six Star Service for the continual good work you do on my Subaru!

These guys are amazing. They are efficient, don't try to sell services that I don't need. They treat my WRX with TLC. I recommend the to all Subaru owners.

These guys are fantastic. I moved to ATL from No. Cal and was concerned about finding a service who loved Subarus as much as I do.
