I love the doctor and the staff at this location. Honestly, I think the Emory system is a pain to work with. I would give Emory fewer stars, but as for this office, I think it is great.

I have been a patient at Oak Grove for many years...Tried to message my Dr. For a new blood pressure medicine.....sent the request Saturday night, was contacted Tuesday morning, and had the wrong prescription sent to the pharmacy...called again yesterday and was told they would send a different prescription...when I went to pick it up this morning, it was wrong again...these kind of mistakes are careless and unexceptional.

This is the pits. Dr. Olabode - the only physician at this location - is a lovely person, but she is not properly licensed and has limited prescribing privileges - more like a PA. Irene Stephanopoulos did a telemed visit where she said I really need to be seen in person - telemed was YOUR idea, I called in agony, begging for an appointment, but couldn’t get past the call center! And then called in a prescription at 1/6 the recommended dosage!!! 1/6! The staff are very nice, even the nurse who, on my first visit, blew out two veins, and then opened the blood tubes IN THE ROOM and poured the blood so there was some in each tube! All very nice people - not a shred of competence in the building. Emory policies and phone management are terrible!! This is allegedly a primary care facility, yet you cannot see the Dr. when you are sick, because you might be sick. (Yes. That is what I meant to write). Emory needs to concentrate less on establishing a healthcare monopoly and focus back on patient care. I’m switching to Piedmont - when Emory buys them, I’ll move.

This is the pits. Dr. And staff are lovely, but dealing with Emory's contact logistics is a nightmare! This is allegedly a primary care facility, yet you cannot see the Dr. when you are sick, because you might be sick. (Yes. That is what I meant to write). Emory needs to concentrate less on establishing a healthcare monopoly and focus back on patient care. Trying to reach this office since 8:30. At 9:04 they promise a call back ASAP. Will update.

I have been going here about 9 years. I needed prescriptions filled that were expired no refills. I called the office but my doctor resigned and instead of giving me a nurse or someone that can fill my scripts, they sent me to the doctor referral line. I tried the customer portal, which I have used in the past and it tells me I do not exist. I tried to send a message through their system and it tells me that Stone Mountain is not a valid city.. I put Atlanta in and now it says there is technical difficulties. What a joke!

Clean office with the nicest ladies at the front desk. I do however find it harder to get an appointment now that they are part of the Emory System.

I love Dr. Humphries and Dr. Ramshur. They always take their time with us and have helped my family through a few scares. Everyone in the office is helpful and kind. I love that my whole family goes here!

I always had a good experience with Oak Grove Family Medicine. Dr. Ramshur is personable and his staff always went out of their way to be accommodating. Unfortunately, due to moving, I no longer go to this location. I would recommend them for sure.

My pharmacy and I have both been trying to call in a prescription refill to Oak Grove for a week now. No one has answered the phone or returned my voicemails. That's a pretty bad feeling when you can't get in touch with your doctor concerning your health for that length of time. My last visit was a year ago and while Dr. Cohen was kind and helpful so it's a shame to have to find another office.

I have to put this place on blast. Dr. Cohen is great but the office is TERRIBLE. I have left voicemail after voicemail requesting an appointment and received no call back. Also, they don't answer the phone. The only way to get an appointment is to go in person to request and even then, they won't have one for several months. What a pain!

First, of all I want to say that Dr. Ramshur and Dr. Humphries are really fantastic- and so are their nurses! Great professionals who are pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable. Now for the horrible truth about their front office staff and office manager. These individuals are doing a tremendous disservice to these great doctors and nurses. Trying to call and reach someone to make an appt. or get a prescription refilled is nearly impossible. The recording loops continuously around- for 2 to 3 hours!!! This happened Multiple days! They seldom pick up, and if they do finally- they put you on Hold. When I did finally make an appointment, I showed up exactly on time, but was told my appt was 45 min ago and I was a No Show. Now why would I show up late to an appointment that took 3 days to try and make?! I have never missed an appt ever ......and the office manager herself said that I made the mistake- never apologizing or taking responsibility. Unbelievable! Fortunately, Dr. Ramshur himself corrected the situation with ease and professionalism- NOT the office manager or staff. I have two friends that also go to this practice. BOTH have had the same issues with calling in- no answer and they also had appointment issues and were actually scheduled when their doctor was not even there that day!How is this lack of organization, terrible communication, and rude treatment by the office staff being allowed to continue?!Again, the doctors and nurses are amazing, but they cannot make up for the incompetence and behavior of the office staff.

The rudest receptionist . Called to find out about the practice. They are not part of the Emory system ( she said "yet") so why use the word Emory?
