The staff here is simply exceptional. Dr. Bell goes above and beyond for our two pups, who in recent years have had an endless array of issues, from allergies to needing preventative surgery to remove a scary lump that was looking suspicious. Dr. Bell gave us every option imaginable and our surgery was made affordable because of an expert she works with. All our fears are always addressed (and thoroughly!), and I just can't express my gratitude enough for their level of care. Vets work exceptionally difficult jobs that can result in compassion fatigue, and my heart goes out to this hardworking crew. I've heard horror stories of how people treat vets sometimes, so I sincerely hope this staff is approached with the same level of care they give our little family members. They're kind, incredible, and compassionate, and they want the best for your pets because they're so obviously animal lovers. Highly recommend!

I had an appointment to drop off my dog for a routine checkup. I called the number and waited in my car for them to pickup my dog. They said they would be out to get him. After 30 minutes of no one coming out. I went inside and asked if I could leave my dog I had been waiting awhile. The receptionist immediately freaked out and the good Dr. Max comes out and tells me to leave. I told him I was waiting awhile he immediately gets mad said he didn't care, "people wait 3 hrs". I asked do I need to reschedule he said he didn't know. He yelled he was tired of people complaining and not going to hear it anymore. He said he had a bad day and guess what, that's not my problem. If you were good at communicating with your customers it would eliminate this issue. He then asked who I was here to see and said I'm sure you don't even know. Complete a******* Everyone has bad days don't take it out on customers. He went inside and said I was next. Definitely an overreaction, no apology offered on his part. Clearly they don't need your business or mine. Go somewhere that values and appreciates their customers. He's too stressed out to worry about your animals.

A trusted advisor recommended North Dekalb Veterinary Clinic to me six years ago, when I adopted two stray kittens. From spaying, to microchipping, to annual care, and the purchase of flea medications, I've been very happy with the excellent customer service provided by the front office staff, and Dr. Lloyd's care. My indoor kitties are terrified in the clinic, and I am always amazed by Dr. Lloyd's calm, confident and caring command of the examination and treatment processes. I ask a lot of questions, and Dr. Lloyd patiently answers them all, frequently referencing the latest research on feline wellness. I'm very grateful for the care I and my kitties receive at North Dekalb Veterinary, and highly recommend them!

Dr. Katz is great - even before COVID, customer services and prices have been excellent and reasonable. COVID protocols are phenomenal for human and pet. He cares deeply for his patients and pet parents, and is always straightforward with what needs to be taken care of now, and what can wait - and I appreciate that.

I've been bringing my cats here for about 3 years, mostly seeing Dr. Lloyd. They do a really good job with my kitties, and I trust them not to push for unnecessary treatments - and explain why certain tests or treatments are recommended.

I have been a client for almost 20 years. All of the vets are caring and compassionate. As a vet tech in a former life I can attest to the fact that they do what is necessary and are the best at what they do. I wouldn't trust my animals' care anywhere else.

This vet is, hands-down, the best. We went to another vet in Decatur with our last dog and our current dog (less than two), when he was a puppy, but switched to North Dekalb to get the personal experience we were looking for. We found that in Dr. Katz. He helped our dog and us through a really significant medical emergency with such intellectual vigor and compassion. He is also well connected with specialists at Blue Pearl and went out of his way, on his day off, to conduct consultations with neurological specialists and call us multiple times to relay information and check on us and our pup. Regardless of the outcome, I feel comfortable that everything that could have been done, has been done.

North DeKalb Veterinary is the best veterinarian around. They performed a very difficult operation on our 12 year old basset hound and did an outstanding job. Dr. Bell is extremely kind and loves animals. She showed great concern for our dog, taking a great amount of time to thoroughly explain to us what the issues were and what the medical plan was. I cannot recommend North DeKalb Veterinary more highly or profusely.

Have been going to Dr.Lloyd with my dog and cats since 2005. He is very sweet to my girls and extremely knowledgeable. They are very helpful with all my pet issues.

Dr Lloyd is great with cats. You can tell he truly enjoys his job. He takes his time and is very approachable. I've been going to Briarcliff for many years but decided to give Dr Lloyd a try after hearing many good things about him and I'm glad I did.

My beloved dog has passed, but she had a great run thanks to Dr. Katz! We appreciate all the love and care he and his awesome staff provided, and I'm sure we'll visit them again when we add new furry members to our family.

North Dekalb Veterinary was recommended by a friend who is a veterinarian. Even though it is on the other side of town, making my cats endure a 30 minute ride, I bring them here because the quality is excellent. No matter which vet I've brought my cats to, they are concerned, they listen, they truly care about my cats' wellbeings. I've emailed them with questions and they respond. After shots and procedures, they've called to check in. So while I wish they had an office in Midtown, I will continue to bring my babies to this clinic.
