After two years of many tears, I'm so thrilled we found Ms. Lisa. She was perfect for my son who HATES haircuts. This was his first full haircut in 2 years he hates haircuts so much. She was patient, confident, and encouraging. I cant recommend Ms. Lisa enough! My son was so proud of himself for being able to get through a haircut with Ms. Lisa's reassurance.
Specialties: Great for kids with special needs.

Absolutely horrifying experience. Don't take your kids here unless you'd like them to be traumatized by something as simple as a haircut. Ms Lisa was meant to cut my 2 year olds hair. The first thing she said to greet us was "you can cry all you want, I don't care", then when I tried to hold his hand while he got his hair cut because he was getting shy and anxious, she swatted my hand away and told me to sit down. I sat down, then she tried to put a mask on him, but he's never worn a mask before so he was terrified of having it over his face, he was screaming and in tears, just so scared, so I tried to hold his hand again to comfort him and so she could put the mask on and she swatted my hand again. Awful, awful place. Should not be working with children. Ever. Of course you pay in advance and you don't get that money back. I have never ever left a place before getting a service, this was my first time and I couldn't run away from there faster. Bye.

Ms. Lisa is amazing! She did a creative coloring using multiple shades for my daughter. She is truly an artist.

Wonderful experience! My 3 year old hates the clippers. The stylist talked to him through it, kept him distracted from it and praised his efforts to stay calm. There was not even a hint of frustration on her part. Oh, and his hair looks great, too! We will definitely be using them exclusively from now on.

Ms. Lisa used to work back in the day at the Kid's Redken Salon she's cut my son's hair back there maybe twice or so while there. They eventually closed and I have been looking for a new salon for my son because Barber for whatever reason loves to cut my son's neck. Those guys are just so rough... Anyways, I digress... I booked an appointment to see Lisa, which is very easy to do. You visit her website, book a time and day and pay online. Everything is done in advance and this makes things easy. The only con I have is that her salon is located inside the One Decatur Towncenter building ((Dekalb Chamber), and you have to pay $10 for parking. It's not her fault, though I am shocked the leasing company doesn't offer her customers at least 45 minutes of free parking. It's literally only 1-2 customers at a time (30-minute hair-cutting sessions). Haircut prices are as follows: 0-6 ($25) +$10 parking 7-9 ($26) +$10 parking 10-12 ($28) +$10 parking $13-17 ($32) +$10 parking Men's haircuts are $37 and women's haircuts are $55. + $10 parking Overall, friendly front staff, and Lisa is great.
