The “ladies” that work in the deli Dept are something else. I walk up it’s 4 men standing to get hot food. Then there’s me to get a sub. The men waiting for hot food literally had to yell for help because the deli workers were all ducked off on the side in their phone. Finally, 1 of the workers walked up and assisted the men waiting for hot food while the other employees continued to be engaged into their phones. Finally after 5 min another deli worker walked up with the nastiest of attitudes and I just walked off. And I’m proud of myself for that AND SHE SHOULD TOO.DO BETTER. Or got to a hood location where you’ll fit in. Also this is coming from a black man‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Some stupid manger decided they would open an hour later then usual. For no reason. Some people need to shop early, you just can’t change hours cause you are lazy.

Usually okay inventory, but my god, are the lines slow as heck. I waited over 20 minutes in line because some woman had a coupon snafu and no manager was coming to help.

This Kroger started going downhill when it expanded. It started with not keeping items stocked, and then they started having only one or two cashiers and everyone else had to use self checkout. Then, they got the self checkout with the conveyor belt. Well, I avoid it mostly, but went there tonight and bought a full big cart of groceries, and there were NO CASHIERS. No lanes open except the self checkout lanes, and no baggers. And the woman who was supposed to be helping with the self checkout was engrossed in her phone, so I had to try to get her attention several times before she responded. Once she helped me, it was back to her phone. How are they charging the same prices or more for the groceries when we are acting as cashiers and baggers?? I'll never be back. Thank you Publix for building a store closer to me.

Things get moved around constantly. There is no flow to this ridiculously ginormous, understaffed store. The aisles are overloaded with freestanding displays. So much so, that I can barely get my cart through the tiny pathways. Imagine that on a busy day. The checkout lines are ridiculous, and barely any human cashiers working at the roughly 15 stations designed for just that. It's over-stimulating and the vibe is terrible. Put on your bubble of protection, get your fuel points and then smudge yourself.

Only have two items in hand and you have to wait in a line. A Kroger this big should never have this many checkout lanes closed. Every line has more than 10 customers waiting to be checkout. What’s the point of having several checkout lanes just to have only a few lanes open. I’m talking about both self checkout and service check out

I will preface this by saying that I never shop at Kroger because no matter what location, it is always a terrible experience. But they sucked me in with a sale on brisket. More on that in a minute. I went in and the place where the carts were only had 3. And this is a huge store that has space for a lot of carts. 2 of them were janky. Great start to my experience. The produce at the store was a mess. Rotten avocados. Beat up tomatoes. Terrible quality overall.I went to the meat section. There was no ground beef that wasn't 9.99 a pound, except the stuff in the tube. And who knows what is really in there. The other ground beef was all empty. I move to the part where the brisket was that was $2.99 a pound. Of course, it was all gone. I ask a butcher about it. He says they don't have any and then points me in the direction of the more expensive Angus brisket that was (I think) $12.99 a pound. I said I specifically came in for the $2.99 brisket. Then he asked about the corned beef. Now, I know that corned beef is technically brisket, but c'mon! I left my cart there and will not return.

I usually don't have negative encounters and keep to myself, but your self checkout clerk needs training or to be let go... the way he approached myself and others today was highly unprofessional and aggressive.I was standing in self-checkout line for 8-ish minutes, and apparently a second line had formed in the aisle next over. I was one of the next customers in my line and myself and everyone behind me were suddenly approached by the male clerk and told to go the next aisle over to the end of the long line there. I'm partially disabled and had already been standing in line and waiting my turn with a 12 pack and several other items, reaching my physical limit, and the cashier was just so loud and rude about the second line when he came and absolutely demanded we go be in the back of the line that had formed in the next aisle, fussing about how there is only 1 line and waving at us to get moving. The gentleman in front of me refused, and the clerk then turned at me and became even more rude about it. He acted like those of us in line with me, who had been standing in line for quite a while had just decided to break some unwritten rule. There arent markings denoting where to line up. He was accusatory, not at all friendly nor respectful, and spoke at us like we were stupid. I didn't need some unhinged cashier amping up my anxiety, so I left my groceries right where I stood on the floor.Maybe he won't approach customers with aggression next time, but I doubt it. So unprofessional and rude. This would never happen at Publix, so I guess I'll go there instead.

You guys are awesome!! However, this past Friday evening (between 6 and 7pm to review on camera) I had a rude experience in the presence of an employee name Mohammed. I could not reach the coffee that I always by because it was way in the back, thus I asked a girl in front if she could call someone from grocery to help me and she did. This is when Mohammed came to the aisle, however he told me to buy the bigger coffee due to "it was in front". He briefly tried to argue that both sizes were the same, however they were not. He eventually reached to the back and grabbed what I needed, however I encouraged him to pull a couple from the back to the front of the shelf for the next shopper (which is called blocking) and he said "it's not my job" and walked away. I have been shopping at the same location for 8 years now and never experienced such ignorance! I am quite cynical of todays' youth. :((

I mean this is absolutely RIDICULOUS! Let’s start off by the buggies! ALL of the buggies are outside smh and now I’ve Been in line for at LEAST 35 minutes! The lines are backed up all the way down the aisles and one of the workers just shut down all the self checkout registers on one end and he stayed down there not helping assist the ONE older LADY they have working the ONE REGISTER that’s opened! I was a supervisor at Walmart for many years and this WOULD NOT have went down! Like is there no manager or supervisor here? I will NOT be returning to this Kroger location!

This store has gone down hill. Long lines no cashiers, and the store is not stocked well, or very clean. I would not shop here. The Publix down the street is much nicer and better kept.

What is happening at the North Decatur Rd location? I went into the store today and the 1st issue is the shopping carts. How is it that the carts are always outside!!! Why are they not collected and brought back in on an hourly schedule? Customers should not have to walk back out to the parking lot to retrieve a cart! This is ridiculous and happens more than not when ever I visit the store.Once inside the store shelves were empty! From the deli department to the coffee creamer. This is my local Kroger and today the store didn't have any of the items that I get time after time. So we know the staff were not busy stocking shelves so they should have had plenty of hands to collect the carts. I had to go down the street to Publixs to complete my grocery shopping.

There is no reason that both self checkout sections cant be open. I dont know whats going on but people shouldnt be waiting in lines that stretch out to the shoppung isles just to checkout. I hope things get better. A concerned customer......
