This past weekend, my bestie decided to throw some food on the grill and we headed over to kroger to grab a few ingredients. (Yes, grilling in the Winter lol) Located in a large and dated plaza, I love that you can always expect tons of parking when you visit a Kroger store and there wasn't anything different this time. We found a great spot and headed inside. To my surprise, this Kroger was huge! There were a number of other businesses inside including a hair, nail salon, and an Optometrist. I loved seeing that the hair salon/barbershop was buzzing with business on a Saturday afternoon. The store setup itself was incredibly organized, it was clean and spacious. We ventured up and down a few aisles, nothing too out of the norm of course. I did feel like their produce was some of the best I've seen at some local Krogers and their International section was filled with some of my favorite Caribbean and Asian ingredients that I don't often see. A great grocery store stop!

Service at Deli for sandwiches is horrible. I have been in line for 1 1/2 hours and still have not been able to place my order. Only 2 people preparing the sandwiches. TThe manager came over and saw the line ans still did nothing. That is horrible customer service.

I've shopped at the Belvedere Plaza Kroger off and on for more than 20 years. Since moving relatively close to it about 2 years ago, I've seen notable improvements. They did some renovations in the last year, and like other Kroger stores lately, the employees speak and are more customer-focused. I shop at this store and the Wesley Chapel store the most and the North Decatur store a little. Other than going to a larger and newer store, I went to North Decatur to get the sushi, but now that they have have sushi at this store, I don't have much of a reason to drive an additional six minutes. They can fix some things to improve the customer experience: Get some new shopping carts/make sure the hand baskets are available at the front entrances Expand the self checkout options More cleaning around the shopping carts and parking lot

This has to be the worst Kroger in existence. Where to start... Most of the meat is within a couple days of it's buy by date or already past. Also good luck with the selection. So many boxes items have been opened up and the items have been removed. Great place to steal from apparently. Fridge doors are just left open with eggs in aisle. And if you don't have great sight have fun walking around in the dark. It would be better lit if you were given a candle when you walked in. Every time I come here I am massively disappointed. Just go to the Walmart on the opposite corner.

I only go here because it's convenient to run in after working out at Planet Fitness. There are almost never any baskets or shopping carts. It's absurd that a grocery store expects you to carry everything in your arms. They seem to carry a fairly good stock of non-perishable items (they usually have the latest energy drink flavor my fiancé likes), but I don't trust much of their fresh food. The employees don't seem to care. The whole shopping center is in poor condition and is filled with sketchy people. Wish we could do something to lift this whole place up. A good start would be if the Kroger would have baskets and shopping carts available.

Pork tenderloin rang up higher than priced when I asked why I was told it had been reduced. Asked for a manager was told the same.

I typically go to Kroger Brookhaven or the one off of Edgewood. And whew. This is the worst Kroger I've been to in a very long time. It's very old, dingy, and dirty. I can't help but think it's because this is the last part of Decatur that isn't fully gentrified and crawling with non-natives of Atlanta. I would have gotten photos if I wasn't so busy trying to run out of there. The fuel center is fine. They were missing many sections in the produce area. Overall, I got 1/3 of what I came for and now have to make another stop.

Why do I do it to myself....THE CORPORATE OFFICE NEEDS TO DO A SECRET SHOPPER AND SEE FOR THEMSELVES THE CONDITION OF THIS STORE AND SOME OF ITs STAFF. On this visit I purchased a few items including couple of frozen dinners. I noticed the temperature was off and it wasn't getting cold. Once @ the register my cashier, Tierra, was very understanding and stated, "I just got here but I will let mgmt know. As I am about to pay, the head mgr (from what I am told) Lisa walks up. I proceeded to inform her and this ____ literally bit my head off. It took every ounce of my being not to act as ignorant as she was. Asking me did I have a problem.....No bitch I don't have a problem, apparently she did. I trying to help Kroger and she showing her azz. Hell I know nothing is going to come of this but at least I posted if.

PLEASE renovate this store. It smells horrible and you can fall asleep in it how dark it is. The tiles on the roof or brown and the aisle look like they could collapse at any moment.

Every time I think this store couldn't get any worse they take it as a personal challenge. This place is an absolute mess. There is trash all over the parking lot. The carts are all broken and busted and they never said even bother to go collect them. There are barely any handbaskets, and they don't even have any sort of wipes to sanitize the carts. The store is in complete disarray and they are missing the most basic items. They don't even bother to clean. There was stuff all over the place and the ceiling was leaking It's insane to me that the managers and Kroger allow this store to be in this state. It's ridiculous and I've completely given up. You know it's bad when Wal-mart is the better option.

I went there towards the end of last year and got in am extremely long line at the one express lane. A couple had a full shopping cart at the check out, and they engaged in a long discussion with the slow clerk about a bunch of bananas. I leaned over and asked in a loud voice if they were waiting for them to ripen. Another time, much earlier, I was at the deli and asked where were the roast beef subs. The lady said they could make one for me, but I had asked where were they on the shelf where they had been previously pre-made and laid out on display. Some jerk male employee with long dreads walked up and gave me some stare like he was a body guard of the dept or the entire store. The entire parking lot looks like a slum. Just driving in there is like being in an amusement park run by lunatics. The concrete walkway must never have been pressure washed in 50 years. It is greasy. It is depressing to even drive by that corner of DeKalb County.

This Kroger certainly does live up to its nickname: Sh!tty Center Kroger. The parking lot is usually filthy with sketchy people hanging around; the store is dimly lit and dirty; often there are no carts or baskets available. It also looks like the Kroger that time forgot. I used to shop at the Big Kroger on DeKalb Industrial and it was renovated at least three times in fifteen years. I'm not sure this Kroger has ever been renovated. That said, they actually have a surprising selection of hipster groceries (oat milk, flavored sparkling water, organic snacks etc.) and there are a few Kroger items I like that I can always find here. However, for the bulk of my grocery shopping I go to the Publix at East Lake which is a thousand times nicer than this Kroger. Even Aldi across the street is nicer and cleaner. Kroger might want to step it up with this location. The neighborhood is changing.

They do not honor their closing time. Came 30 minutes before they stated time and there were 3 employees guarding the door telling people they weren't open anymore even though the posted time was midnight.

One of the best neighborhood grocers. Store is always adequetly stocked, very fresh produce and meat, awesome seafood dept. They usually have a 4 to 6 week turn around on their snow crab legs I watch for it monthly with my dog "Oakley", pictured here!

Always a mess, produce is old and poor selection. Non-existent customer service. Will be shopping elsewhere from now on!
