The location on Ponce delayed our taxes being completed on time. We had to file an extension. Then they scheduled multiple appointments to complete our taxes, but they failed to complete them at each appointment. There was always an excuse! This location has horrible service.

Terrible place. We planned our appointment a week in advance and the receptionist calls on Saturday to cancel on Sunday. They had all week to work with us. My wife and I are busy professionals and we set appointments in advance to ensure we can make our schedules work. To wait until the day before to cancel is unacceptable and rude. Run from this place.

The experience was horrible. It took an inordinate amount of time just to drop off our paperwork. We had hoped to work with the same associate as last year and it was not communicated up front with us. Our assigned tax preparer never returned calls or emails until it was finally time to file our return. When we finally came in to finalize our paperwork, we had to wait 40 minutes past our appointment time. (The office manager said our tax preparer was with someone but he wasn't.) When we finally met, our representative was not prepared. There were several sections that weren't completed and had to be entered while we waited. The process took over 2.5 hours. On top of it all, we had to pay $495 for this experience. Don't bother with this location.

Loud, distracting, annoying. I've been in government offices with more appeal.

Beware!! We made $32,000 before taxes and we are charged $420.00 fee for our 2016 taxes. The bill was so high our bank thought our card was stolen. We've been dealing with H&R for years and never this expensive!! Wish I would of checked the consumer affairs report of the reviews before the apt! BEWARE!!

Tax time! Boo---Yah---Boo---Yah. Depending upon your past experiences, expectations, etc. you may love or LOATHE tax time. I never know what I'm going to get... I usually do my taxes via software. Well, i just got married, we had a lot of deductions to report, and had a pension issue so we thought it was best to visit a professional...enter H&R Block! This was a pop-up store, meaning it springs up in January and closes on April 15th (tax day). They move everything out...it's a seasonal location. Good parking, lighted sign out front, desks & chairs; they had everything set-up just like a permanent office. Very nice! We booked our 'reservation' online which is very convenient. I was able to select the day/time I wanted and they let me know if that slot was available, who I was working with, and their tax experience/bio. Really cool feature, I was pretty impressed. We arrived on time but had to wait 30 minutes for our rep. to finish up with her current appointment. S&%# happens, her previous appointment ran long and that's ok. Our appointment took about 1 hour. Our rep. was extremely smart, knowledgeable and nice!! We came in with paperwork and she helped us sort it and then she started asking questions. Then, she started chugging away and put our data in her system. WALLAH!! We had completed taxes for State and Federal. They even e-filed them right there on the spot...I was not prepared for all of that. She compared the amounts of filing joint vs. separate and provided us with tips going forward with what to do/keep/record/etc. We were also given online access to their site to view the filings & forms. This was truly a great experience and the price was fair (based upon the amount of forms needed to file, that's it). 1 hr and the taxes are done with no stress, BOOM!!
