Be prepared for your policy amount to increase and not decrease like it used to as your vehicle gets older.

Had a back up in basement the end of April, this past year. State farm representatives from Ohio had handled claims from April thru May and received excellent care and processing of claims in excellent time frame considering Covid. It is with regret that when contacting this agency (36+years) that I received no respect or handling of this claim.Soft tissue backup, with water damage to kitchen and bathroom areas that extended out in living areas. Aftet several calls and requests to speak to Gene Massey , to no avail, they forwarded all my calls to voicemail. Called from another phone immediately and call answered without hesitation . To date, have not received call from Gene Massey to discuss my concerns ovet my claim. Office staff took messages and did nothing.Only after I contacted the main State Farm headquarters were my concerns and processing of claims completed in 2 weeks of waiting from June 12th- the last of August. This is the 1st major claim that had ever been filed on thid property. Was not trested with respect or gratitude.

Multiple BAD experiences with State Farm Insurance in relation to all types of their insurance! The only thing good are those cute commercials they have. With hurricane Irma in 2017, it took State Farm WEEKS to send an adjuster to my house which had major roof damage from a tree. With car insurance, I was reprimanded by them in 2019 for not calling the police when it was a minor fender bender in a private parking deck (one of the corporate people who was calling from the medwest did not understand what a parking deck IS) when I called them from the deck when it happened, and with life insurance corporate keeps screwing things up (somehow calling wrong phone numbers to reach me in the fall of 2020, then loosing paperwork, and no luck getting agent Josh Massey to call me on the phone this week when what corporate is doing and telling me is totally different than what he told me. I'm not worth a phone call by this agency agent - only an e-mail to them. And the phone system there does different things at different times and either it isn't taking messages or they are not being listened to or else they listen and don't respond - I don't know which but have reached my maximum level of inconvenience with them. Unfortunately I stay so busy taking care of my 92-year-old mother that I haven't had time to shop around for a better company than State Farm yet.

I signed up with Josh last December and he seemed like a nice enough fellow. The rates were good and it was fine. I had now issue with a credit card change for payment a month ago and asked to change over to a new payment method. Every since that time, he and his assistant have not even bothered to help me by not picking up my call or responding. It's baffling to me so, I was assigned a new agent. I am a small business owner and have this to say. If you cannot provide good service, you should get out of the service business. I do not recommend this State Farm agent. Perhaps, I was not a large client to warrant his attention.

TERRIBLE! Customer service. Stephanie is rude and lacks basic math skills. I can not stress this enough. Save yourself time and aggravation. I love state farm insurance but after switching to this agent i now have a bad taste about the company. They do not handle clients policies, problems, or concerns with any type of care or integrity. Very careless and condescending when dealing with clients. They do not communicate at all and are lazy about their jobs. Just leaving this to save someone else's time.

Stephanie is very condescending over phone and yells if you ask a question more than once. I changed my agency after fearing she will respond to my calls and not her staff. Signing up with this agent was a mistake.

Fantastic insurance agency. The staff here are the most knowledgeable and friendly I've ever come across. Do yourself a favor, give these guys a try, you'll never leave.

Just had a terrible experience with Stephanie Hevener, the office manager. Rude and slammed the phone down on me and my assistant. It was wild as we've never interacted before and had a short conversation regarding a condo association, which has nothing to do with either one of us personally. So strange!

I believe josh has lacks basic professionalism
After being with State Farm for 20 years , I decided to go with another company when I found out my home policy had been cancelled for more than 2 month without any notification
And policies that should have been cancelled months ago , I’m still paying for !!!
Since then I have tried more than 6 times to get other policies cancelled , but no luck
Josh doesn’t answer phone calls , emails and when you even stop by in person, after feeling your have bothered him or woke him up from his nap , work doesn’t get done.
State Farm is a great company , but when the business is handed down to family members with no motivation, the result is unhappy customers.

The entire team here has been absolutely fantastic, and in this day and age it's refreshing to have a company legitimately value their customers' best interests. Sherri especially went above and beyond to assist me when a mixup with my policy occurred and saved me a tremendous amount of time, money, and headaches, and that level of care and customer service simply isn't found with any other insurance provider. I couldn't be a more satisfied customer with them.

I have been with State Farm since September of 2012 and only wish I had switched sooner. Not only has my family saved money but have been able to build a solid foundation and relationship with their team. Honestly can say I understand all my policies and the coverage which I have. Plus I get to speak to the same person locally, not a call center!! Thanks State Farm!!

Excellent experience - I ended up with better coverage for a lower price than my previous auto insurance company. Having an agent that's local is a big plus, as well.
