This church like many others around the Decatur Square gives away food to homeless people who subsequently illegally loiter around the intersection of Church and Sycamore, and compromise the quality of life, safety, health and comfort of tax-paying City of Decatur residents.Enough is enough!STOP FEEDING THE HOMELESS!

Very superficial church. With a few exceptions people will be nice to your face but stab you in the back. I went to this church for 8 years but when I finally stood up to my narcissistic two faced uncle this congregation came to the defense of my abusive uncle and shamed me and gaslit me for speaking up even when he was caught forcing me to take de facto puberty blockers for 10 years.I’m homeless now and have no hope of finding work until I have a car but when I reached out to this congregation again during my time of greatest need every single member who was able to help once again turned their backs on me and many even shamed me again for standing up to my abusive uncle and refusing to retract my accurate claims of abuse. This church has no right to criticize the abuse cover ups in the Catholic Church

I'm both a member of the congregation and I serve on the staff. My family loves this warm, welcoming congregation in the heart of Decatur. Both Sunday services are lovely, but we normally attend the early service which has a more laid-back vibe. Kids are welcome and important in worship, which is huge for my family. Progressive, thoughtful, deep theology with good humor, strong coffee, and real life. I love this church.

My son attended preschool for three years here, and we were always more than pleased with everything. The current staff and administration is superb when caring for my child. I honestly get that this preschool was a gift from above when going through certain things. Highly recommended.
