I had to switch to this location because the CVS location I went to previously has closed. On both occasions, they have acted like it's a big hassle to apply the discount card for my prescription, which saves me $70. They have a really inefficient process that requires the customer to wait in line to get their prescription, then go wait in another line to get the rebate/discount, then go back to the first line to pay. Other pharmacies allow you to accomplish more than one thing after waiting in line.

I never write reviews (especially negative), but this pharmacy was especially awful.I have always used CVS pharmacy, and recently moved to the area. I had the prescription for a medication I've regularly taken for many years sent to this location by my doctor. When I went to pick it up, my prescription wasn't in their system. No worries - likely a miscommunication because of my recent move. But they weren't willing to help. Instead of trying to identify and resolve the issue, they treated me like I was an idiot who had no idea what I was talking about and basically just told me to go away. At this point, I'm just trying to have it transferred to a different pharmacy, but even that is proving difficult.Save yourself the literal headache (lol get it? bc withdrawl symptoms...), and don't go here.

I would rate this CVS lower if it were possible. Poor service, mismanaged pharmacy, filthy store. What an embarrassment to the CVS brand.

This pharmacy always seem understaffed with long waits. Every time I come to pick up a prescription they never can find it in the system.

Joe Williams, the pharmacist at this location, went above and beyond to help me this morning with a prescription. I was having issues with short term insurance and he assisted me in navigating the very complicated American health care labyrinth. I highly recommend the pharmacy at this location. They have excellent customer service with a patient. friendly and helpful staff. Thank you Joe!

I dread every time I need to refill a prescription here because I just know it'll be a stressful, time consuming process. If you call, expect to be waiting on hold no less than 30 minutes. And if they put you on hold again, 9 times out of 10 the line will get disconnected (not sure if they're literally just hanging up on purpose or if it's an issue with the phones). If you go in person, expect to wait in a long line just to, more often than not, discover there was some sort of issue filling your prescription. And you'll usually be greeted with a clipped toned, frustrated employee who will make it clear they think your very presence in front of them is an inconvenience. God forbid you deign to ask a question. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else if you can.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY.This pharmacy used to be great. However, there has been a recent turnover in the pharmacy staff - as well as the lead doctor/pharmacist.Avoid at ALL costs for the following reasons:1) They are extremely rude and condescending. Your questions will not be listened to or answered, with any respect or dignity.2) You will receive text messages stating that your RX is ready for pickup. But when you show up to pick up your prescription, you are told numerous things such as:a) Your prescription is not ready yet. b) We are out of that medication.c) That text message was an error with our system.3) You will then wait hours (inside the store) waiting for them to refill an RX that THEIR system texted you and said was ready for pickup, hours before (that's if they have the medication in stock).4) If you say anything to the pharmacist or the staff, they look at you and speak to you like you are a piece of dirt.5) When you call and refill your prescription with the automated system, 90% of the time, the automated system does not get it right. Naturally, a person will want to then communicate with the pharmacist to receive the correct prescription refill. After waiting on hold for more than 30 minutes, you will be hung up on. This has happened to me 6 times over the last 3 weeks.6) When you go into the pharmacy and bring any of this to their attention, they take zero accountability and blame the "system" for all of the above. To say this place is a joke is true. But that is also a gross understatement. This particular CVS pharmacy isdangerous. If you require life-saving medication (or even non life-saving, but necessary medication) like I do, on a strict schedule, I HIGHLY recommend you do NOT use this pharmacy.Upper management needs to get involved here.

I don’t know where the 2 star rating is coming from. We’ve never had a problem with this CVS. You cant complain about wait times and prescriptions when they are RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM A HOSPITAL‼️ Cant even imagine how many orders they have to fill a day, Thank You all for what you do?

Pattern of consistently poor pharmacy customer service spanning months. Pharmacy has repeatedly left me on hold for 30+ minutes then hung up on me without speaking. If they're not staffed for calls, they should de-list their pharmacy number and revise their automated prompts to clarify they are not available for customer/patient calls.

I absolutely HATE this CVS. It’s like the pharmacy doesn’t want to do their job. I’ve drove up there to try and get my prescription transferred and they said I have to have to transfer pharmacy to give them a call. They NEVER answer the phone and when they do they put you on hold for a very long time. The transfer pharmacy has been trying to reach them for days still no answer. I finally got someone to answer last night but the transfer pharmacy was closed. Now as soon as I ride up there again and act crazy because I need my medication then I know they gone call the cops. It’s ALWAYS the same and they DO NOT CARE AT ALL

Run, don’t walk away from this CVS. It has to be the worst pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. The employees all act as though you are bothering them by asking them to do their jobs and your prescription won’t be ready ever, unless you are physically present in the store and force them to do their jobs. They send out messages promising your prescription is ready and then, when you arrive well past the promised time they told you it would be ready, they act surprised that you are in their store requesting to pick up the prescription they told you would be ready! When I asked about the message stating my prescription was ready 2 hours prior to my arrival, the person at the register said “We don’t send those out. I will expedite it and it should be ready in an hour.” Who sends out these messages if not the pharmacy filling the prescription??? 3 hours after it was “expedited” it still was not ready. Perhaps expediting an order means something else at CVS. This will be the last prescription I ever fill at any CVS, much less the clown show that exists on N Decatur Rd.

The pharmacy gave me 10 pills but my paperwork says there should be 14. I’m very upset and would like this issue addressed. I just started taking this medication and it’s known to be very addictive so I expect to be told I’m lying when I am most certainly not. I’d like you guys to count what you have left to prove it was a mistake on your end. My mother can pick up the other 4 pills after work today for me.

Update: Tried to fill the same prescription and came home with capsules instead of tablets; not a problem except I am supposed to take half in the morning and half at night. I call back and ask how I do that. I am told "I don't" and to bring them back to swap. Come back and I'm told they probably did it because they aren't covered by my insurance...here we go again! I say it never has been and why would you give me something I cannot take as prescribed - you can't cut a capsule in half! She tells me a ridiculously high price (double what I normally pay) and I say no, that isn't right. Then she gives me relatively close price and says there's a difference between tab and capsule cost. I ask why I am paying again for the same prescription and not just the difference, it's a swap. So I'm told "It's 52 cents" with an attitude. You can't fill scripts correctly, you can't charge me correctly, you get an attitude when I correct you. What happens when you make someone sick because of your negligence? I filed a formal complaint and am waiting to hear back. I wish my insurance used anyone but CVS/Caremark...what a waste of my time.Photo is of staff playing a game on their phone while I stood inside for several minutes at the counter while three people did their thing and I had to get their attention to get assistance. Drive thru is closed an hour earlier now, they say they are busy and people are just being karens about waiting, yet I show up, wait patiently (no line), get ignored anyway.Dropped off two prescriptions here yesterday and was told they'd be ready today - no problem. I get a text today saying one was on backorder and to call if I wanted to arrange to get it at another CVS. Again, no problem. I call and am told to get it at West Ponce. I ask if I need to call first to pick it up, and the woman assures me I do not. I go tonight and wait 35 mins in the drive thru to be told they have no idea about it, and that this particular medicine cannot be transferred. Livid, I call THIS CVS back to a guy who says "uh huh..." every two seconds and then says it may not be covered in full by my insurance. I knew that, and it had nothing to do with the issue, so he obviously isn't listening. Turns out they had it the whole time. I will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere permanently and then call on the spot to make sure they actually do it. Completely inept.
