This place is absolutely horrible and if zero stars was an option that is what it would get. The place is dirty, there are roaches and don't look in the vents because they are filthy. They will sell you on the fact that you can make any modifications or upgrades you want in the apartment and that is because they aren't. If you complain about anything the response is "well it's old".
There is no management on the weekend or security. The management team will become argumentative if you question them too much.
If you can afford to go ANYWHERE else please do and if this is your last resort.... I'm sorry.

Wow, we feel so lucky to find Coventry Place! In March of 2023, I flew to Atlanta to take my mother to tour assisted living facilities in the area. Coventry Place was the second facility we visited and everything about the experience was 5 stars. Katlynn the marketing directors showed us around and introduced my mother to residents and staff during the tour. She took us to see a one-bedroom apartment that had been recently remodeled with updated stainless appliances and new floors. Immediately upon entering, my mother stated "I love this place!". We toured 7 more assisted living facilities over the next two days and signed a contract for my mother to live at Coventry Place at the end of the week. In addition to her lovely apartment, my mom receives three wonderful meals a day, weekly maid service, laundry service, and even transportation to and from doctor appointments, as well as grocery shopping. My mother has now been a resident at Coventry Place for over a month and we speak daily. She tells me almost everyday how much she loves all of the staff at Coventry Place! Special thanks to Katlynn, Robert, Chad, Jacquline, Mathew for taking such great care of my mom. You guys all rock! Coventry Place is truly a great place for mom!

This place is Awesome! We took our older sister to several locations to tour the facilities (referred by Tiffanie Beckles/A Place for Mom)...Well this one was AMAZING & a Perfect fit! Where do I begin? Let me start with my initial contact with the Sales Director, Katlynn. Her professionalism and enthusiasm truly impressed me. She truly LOVES this place and it shows Upon finally meeting her, she did not disappoint! We were actually greeted at the door by a tall older gentleman (Military Vet) that was so kind, he escorted us to the front desk...we later found out that he was an actual resident, not even a staff member. The ambiance is so warm, clean and friendly. The residents were friendly, they were even voicing how much they loved being there and telling my sister to reassure her. The rooms and closets are nice and spacious. They also provide activities and transportation in a Great location. I really appreciated the security in place as well. I say that this is the place where “Family & Community meet?” I'm sure it's obvious that this is our facility of choice!

One of their board members who is white freely uses the N-word on social media. This is the type of leadership running this establishment.

My mother moved into Coventry Place two years ago and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Don't let the outside fool you, beautiful marble floors, stained glass and flowers everywhere makes for a lovely environment. The staff is professional and courteous with lively and energetic residents. Before we chose Coventry, we toured different communities and three things set it apart- much larger apartments, considerably lower cost and a positive energy. We recommend to everyone who is looking for a great value in a family-style atmosphere!

Coventry Place has a lot of depth and breadth of activities. Some activities are in high demand and are done weekly. There's always seasonal activities like going to Stone Mountain in the Spring and Fall as well as Christmas to see the light shows. Musicals, museums, taking residents who wish to go to new restaurants, etc, wine & cheese parties, musicians.. There are plenty activities for residents to look always be able to look forward to and enjoy!

I bought my mom to Coventry for a tour and lunch. I have to say that out of all the tours we had in the last month; my mom LOVE's the atmosphere at Coventry. The entire staff made us feel warm and welcomed. After our tour we sat down and had lunch with Nancy. The service in the dining room was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. Before we left; I met the Director of Personal Care, Ms. Yolanda. My mom felt so comfortable with her that before we left she looked at me and said; "I found my new home". This made me feel so at ease and now knowing that mom will have a great place to call him. This entire team is amazing and I am glad we found this place. Thank you the staff at Coventry Place for making this a wonderful experience. Mom cannot wait to move in.

In my opinion , Coventry Place in Decatur , Ga. is incompetent , inattentive and neglectful to its residents. Their "cleaning" procedures are a joke. I was there one "cleaning day" and saw, first hand, the job 'well done". Many complaints were made concerning health and well being of resident . Go somewhere else with your friend or loved ones.

Approximately one week ago I came to visit my loved one at Coventry Place. During my visit, my aunt said that she was not feeling well. At approximately 11:00 am I found medications in a cup that had been left in her room by a care giver. This is not the first time that this has happened. In fact there have been times when her medications have been given very late. I am a registered nurse and I know that medications should never be left with a patient because it is very unsafe as well as against the law. I later searched for a manager and was told by an older women ( Wilma) at the front desk, who is always rude and nasty, that the director was cleaning rooms because they had no house keepers, which explains why my aunts room was dirty with and had foul odor. I am now contemplating filing a complaint with the state. Coventry Place is neglectful. It is cockroach infested. They may be a cheaper option at the expense of incompetent care. Had we known better, we would not have chosen Coventry Place.
