I went to Stone Mountain pawn their prices was High. I came to Candler and their price were MUCH better. I bought a shadow systems for DIRT prices!

This is one of my favorite pawn shop they are very friendly make you feel comfortable with doing business with them they show you real Eastside luv try them out and they got most of the weapons that you need in other items and when you come down to do the most painful thing of pawn your stuff they will work with and make it where you can come back

I don’t bash businesses, just looking out for the people as a firefighter should. With that being said… this is the worst pawn shop to do business with. They’ll sell your items before the maturity date if the price is right, they lack communication, and the customer service is 0/10. If you want to do business with a GREAT pawn shop that cares about the customer and give you the best prices both via pawn or selling head over to Ideal Pawn & Jewelry. They have a larger selection of weapons with better prices as well and their weapons are in much better shape damn near brand new, the customer service is 10/10 (very polite individuals), you won’t be tripping over items on the floor unlike this shop, they genuinely care about the customers (will send reminders via text as your maturity date gets close and actually gives you a grace period if you miss your maturity date!). Once again, I’m warning you for your best interest… do not do business with this shady pawn shop. Thank me in advance. Be blessed ??!

Went here today to pick up my pawned gun and all I can say is these one stars are obviously people in their feelings about not being adult enough to pay their bills when they’re supposed to. I pawn my firearm here regularly and NEVER have any issues with Zay or Nick, they always tell me exactly what to expect and when to pay it and give me the paperwork highlighted and circled.

I Walked in And Was Instantly Greeted By A Gentleman By The Name Of Nick. He Ran Me By My Preference Of Firearms And Showed Me What He Was Working With (Pause). He Gave Excellent Customer Service Throughout The Whole Process And i Would Recommend .

I lost my pawn ticket and the red-head employee said I could not retrieve the items I pawned. I called the Dekalb County police but they said they had no jurisdiction over the Candler Road Pawn shop. This happened today! Nov.13, 2023. There are no signs stating if you lose your pawn ticket you can not get your items back. You mean they get to keep my property? This is ridiculous! According to Ga annotated code "In the event the pledgor or seller has lost or destroyed the original pawn ticket, a pawnbroker may at the time of redemption, charge a fee equal to not more than $2.00.No other charge or fee of any kind... " Tomorrow I will contact the state agency that overlooks pawn shops in Georgia. I pawned a family heirloom, a Mother's ring with all twelve on my children's birthstones. What can they do with that? As of today while trying to retrieve my items the rude red-headed employee refused to look at my I.D nor take my money! He would not even come to the ciunter while he continued to play a video game. Very very unprofessional! I believe the owner does not know this rype of behavior is going on! WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THIS!!!! I want my property you thieves! I don't believe the owners of Candler Road Pawn Shop know this. But they will find out very soon.

This empty open shop is a waste of space and time and they have a very messed upway of doing business.One tall guy walking around with a weapon pulling his pants down with a little girl around 2 or 3 years old in there watching TV eating processed food.The second guy walking around with a weapon in LV Holster wasting people's time.I went in to pawn a watch, wasted 45 minutes and they don't even pawn watches, then why keep me there for that long and lie to me about my watch, which is appraised. It will never happen again. After talking with them both I didn't even want to leave my watch, I was afraid I wouldn't get it back with all of its jewels in it.The tall gentleman who you say is your employee was the one who stated if I was not selling the watch, what were you doing. I don't spread false accusations and I didn't bring in a fake watch. As I stated above, the watch has been appraised.I stand on everything I said above.

I use to buy my firearms and ammo from this location when I lived in this part of metro Atlanta, my visits use to pleasant up until now. So here is what happen, I was on my way to an outdoor range and needed some .223 ammo well the closet store in route was Candler Road Pawn & Gun Shop heading to Griffin GA. Well I recalled that store being there from, the old neighborhood, so I said it’s way let me stop there and get a few boxes of 223.I walked in went over to the ammo section told a this employee, who looks like he failed the test from being on duck dynasty give me some .223 / 55-grain . He grabs two boxes before I could even tell him which brand I was looking for . I only use federal always have, As if he walking it over I say I only use Federal is this Federal? As he hands me a box of 223 and I am not even looking at it, I asked what is this and the price? They guy says to me, “WHAT DOES IT SAY?”I look at it and I say, "WELL IT'S NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR IS IT?" I said you just handed me a box of .223 that's not how you sell ammo is that how you would sell a firearm just here BUY IT?I told you I wanted Federal, and you just hand me a box and he is keeping the other box behind his back like I am going to rob the place.You just don't hand a customer ammo because they said give me some 223 or 9mm or even 45ACP at least give them a chance to tell you what they are looking for which he didn't and you don't get an attitude about it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Have no grace period. Don’t call and remind of a pawn is late. They also charge for background checks to retrieve a firearm. NO pawnshop in Atlanta operates like them. DONT GO!!!!! Trust me DONT GO!! GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE
