Horrible place. Please don't take your loved ones here. The quality of food the state should shut them down for. Canned foods no fresh fruits and vegetables. I brought and asked them to prepare certain small dishes for mom they get an attitude. No outdoor activities. Mom gained 20 pounds in a year between lack of exercise and salty canned foods. The room and bed furniture are cringy at best to look at. The staff talk to the patients like children. Ms Humera the head owner loves to hide in the background and act like nothing is going on. She's incredibly hard to reach doesn't return calls. They also stole my mother's recliner. When I called Humera about it, no return call or message. Not to mention, you have to make an “appointment “ to see your own loved one. No drop ins which I thought was kinda of odd as well as inconvenient. Don't be fooled. This place is all about collecting money in the cheapest way possible at the expense of your loved one. I couldn't be more let down.

My husband was in Azalea house for 2 months. It was the worst experience for us. It started out nice but they started over medication him and not taking care of his personal need. I wouldn’t recommend this facility.

We’ve had two generations of family that have lived at Azalea House. We have always been very appreciative of the loving care they received.

Azalea House has been a real blessing for my parents. I feel like all the staff really know my mom and dad and what they need to be safe, happy, and healthy. There's great communication from everyone and more importantly, they listen to me and share my desire to make sure my parents are active and engaged. My parents especially love the wonderful staff, the delicious made from scratch meals, and the beautiful wrap around porch!

Azelea House is a small family like community. The staff are friendly and caring. My mom has been a resident for the past 8 months and I am pleased with the care being provided.

My mom, who had dementia, was at Azalea House for about a year. Luckily, it was within 2 miles of me, so I was able to go there every other day of so. I feel the place is very trustworthy - there were NO hidden costs - the rent stayed constant the entire time she was there. While it is a small facility, it was like a family - and I have to admit the residents and some of the caregivers became like family to me. I always knew she was taken care of, she loved the food and she made friends there. She was a "night walker" - so I heard - and the night caregivers were very understanding of this and gave me "chores" to do - which was good for her. Even though my mom is gone, I still go back there and visit with the residents, because as I said, they became friends in the process.

My dad has been living at Azalea House for a little over a year. It's a nice facility. The community areas and backyard space are lovely. The food is quite good. Ms. Rosa, who cooks many of the meals, is an exceptional cook. The staff works incredibly hard to take care of the residents. It takes a lot of patience to deal with my dad, as he is not always the most pleasant person to be around. The caregivers do a good job with him. Ms. Eve and Ms. San are particularly kind and compassionate, and they really go above and beyond to make sure my dad is well taken care of. The size of the community is very nice, and the residents do a good job of looking out for one another.

My husband and I have a dear friend that moved to Azalea House about a year ago. Before moving, she lived alone for many years, but was unable to continue doing so. The transition was somewhat of a challenge because it was a big change for her at a time in her life when change is particularly difficult (she is in her 90s.) However, the staff of the Azalea House were wonderful. They were supportive and patient with her. They helped her better understand her new surroundings and get into a new routine. She still has a privacy when she is in her own room, but is now able to socialize with others in shared spaces and even sometimes takes part in the planned activities and therapies that are available. We always feel welcome when we visit and recently received an invitation to join them for Thanksgiving dinner. The Azalea House has been a wonderful place for our friend and I would definitely recommend it!

This personal care home was the cleanest I’ve ever visited and I felt at home. The staff prepares home cooked meals every day for the residents. This personal care home has large rooms and I loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. The staff was very friendly. I could tell the staff really cared about their residents by the interaction between them.
