I'm a resident of three years. We have new management as of mid July. They have stepped up their game as far as property maintenance. It has always been good but could be better. The better we've gotten is dusting of fans in breeze ways, clean up of cobb webs in tight corners, the GRILL was repaired!,... I can add more but I don't want to yet. I'm looking forward to exploring community with the new management. I should add Daren has been a great member of the staff over the years. He is prompt, keeps on contact if an issue takes longer than expected, Oscar & Ayesha are new and have been great. Friendly, informative, and hopeful to keep the Arcadia a great community!

UPDATE: After living here since March of 2024, this complex has shifted management. The current management tacks on extra fees that were not discussed when the lease was signed and were not printed in the lease. Additionally, these fees (that sum nearly $100) have come on without any written notice or warning. I have rented apartments for the last 16 years of my life and never once been charged for water and sewage. Certainly not backdated from before when this new company took over. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere in the neighborhood. Other places are more forthcoming with their fees and policies and won’t leaving you feeling hoodwinked 6 months after you moved in.
I am absolutely in love with my new apartment. Wonderful location, excellent amenities, and such a great staff. JLynn, in particular, not only made the application process so easy and seamless, but she is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I may have and helps to resolve any issues that may arise with an urgency you don’t often see from other companies. 5 stars isn’t enough to do this place justice. I’m very happy with my choice to stay at Arcadia Decatur and am excited for my future here.

I visited the office today where a large man with dark hair and dark-rimmed glasses was in the glass-front section, busy on a call. He didn’t acknowledge me, even after I waited 15 minutes so I finally asked for assistance. He responded without looking at me, mentioning he was alone and on a call with his regional office. His lack of basic respect and customer service was unsettling. I didn’t expect him to hang up immediately, but his failure to even recognize my presence was extremely disrespectful. It felt like I wasn’t even worthy of basic customer service. This incident left a negative impression on the office. I wouldn’t consider residing here, even if it was free. Imagine how they treat some of their residents if this is what happens to a potential. As a potential black resident, I felt blatantly and intentionally ignored. I refuse to believe this is the level of "service" given to everyone. He didn’t pause his call or apologize as I left. Be wary of such overt disrespect. Decatur may not be as progressive as it portrays itself to be.

Beautiful property in a great location! Toured with Nato and he was so helpful and knew all the answers to my questions. Him and Michelle also both greeted me with smiling faces and were generally just so pleasant to deal with!

Arcadia Apartments are in a great location including Decatur City School District. Staff here is great and very quick to respond to requests. Apartments are clean- no issues with bugs or critters. There is carpet in the bedroom- I wish it had been replaced before we moved in because… carpets in general can hold onto a lot of gross stuff. The prices are high ( like most rentals in the area) and road noise is a little loud. Overall, it’s a great place to live.

The parlor is so nice, I love how they decorated it to go along with the nature theme here! The neighbors that I’ve met are really nice and it is a great community overall!
