We were disappointed.
With tax on a weekend rate, one night was $425. Great view but that was about all. The room was smaller than a normal hotel room.
Bath vent not working with months of dust, mold on shower curtain, thick layer of dust on nightstand shelf, house phone dusty, bathroom smelled of urine and we heard our neighbor snoring. More of what you expect for $50-60 per night. Room 418. Booked 3 nights, left after one night.

Always amazing to stay at Amicalola State Park. We have only eaten at the Lodge but the views are spectacular. You can hike there from the Campground!

Very relaxing and a wonderful adventure
The walk to the middle of the falls was fairly easy for my wife with MS
The area around is full of vineyards and delightful towns

Incredible views! The lodge rooms are lovely and clean. The food at the lodge is delicious and the staff is super accommodating and friendly. They also have cabins which are so cute with nice decks and incredible views. Guided hikes and ziplining are available. The waterfall is amazing. Perfect for a romantic getaway or group events.

Absolutely gorgeous location with stunning views of the sunset, the blood moon, and the comet. The comfort food was excellent. Personally I liked the buffet style, because everything was done so perfectly. Good salad bar too, I especially loved the homemade picked peppers. Decent beer selection.
When my wife and I were there, there was also a conference going on. The restaurant was short staffed, like a lot of places these days. The head waiter was called in on her day off, and people were filling in from the front desk and other parts of the business. They held it together and did fine. I heard some people complaining but I didn’t feel like we had to wait for anything. Only suggestion I would make is to put out a drink station so people can fill their own drinks.
Rooms: We stayed in a 2B cabin with a kitchen. Quaint but functional, relaxing setting in the woods, a little musty and dusty. Stone fireplace was nice. Would stay here again!! But cabins could use a deep clean and a refresh, and don’t paint the windows shut - one of the nicest things about staying in the mountains is opening up the windows at night.
Nearby activities: Park trails, Gibbs garden, AT approach
Walkability: Great scenic walking trails nearby
Food and drinks: Excellent scratch kitchen comfort food! I especially liked the blackened salmon.
Noteworthy details: Fantastic view

The hotel was very nice and the park was beautiful but the dinner buffet is extremely expensive. Would recommend but maybe skip the buffet.
