Very friendly tellers and loan officers. It's a professional, yet casual and friendly environment.

I really dislike having to leave this review but my recent experiences with this branch have left me no option. I have been banking here for a decade, I have multiple business accounts, lines of credit, loans, etc through this branch. I used to love coming here and the customer service used to be top notch. I felt like they truly cared. Here recently it has been a completely different story. My business debit card got hacked and I had money stolen from my account. Their fraud department is completely useless and is unwilling to help and going to this branch in person it is the same experience. You will get promised a phone call back but time after time, again and again you will never hear from them. You have to call their number 5+ times just to get someone to answer the phone just so you can get directed to one of the many voicemails of a banker that wont call you back. The customer service is absolutely abysmal here. It has been increasingly frustrating over the course of the last few weeks. While the amount stolen from me wasn't as high as another reviewer, I now know that Truist does not have my back and they do not carry my best intentions anymore. As soon as I get some final payments coming up from clients I will be taking every account and loan I have with them and going to a bank that will actually care and put in the minimum effort to do their jobs effectively. It was a mostly great 10 year experience, but this isn't the same bank that has been terrific for me in the past and its time to move on.

Was pleasantly surprised at the intuitive and personable service opening my daughter's account this past week. The lady was a joy to work with and we will be making this our home location since our previous bank had been shuddered. It is worth the extra 15 minutes.

This branch and the bank's fraud department is horrible. I reported fraud over 3 months ago and it is still not resolved. Over $8000 in fraudulent debits to my checking account under the $150 limit to notify me up to 4 a week reported it filled out all necessary paperwork, and still only $450 or so returned to me. The charges are all identical yet the excuse is each one has to be investigated and how does that take 3 months? I have called fraud and gone into this branch to be treated like this is no big deal, I am overreacting and no empathy for my situation that the bank is responsible for. I continually am told I will get a check tomorrow to no avail. Do NOT open an account here and do not trust their security! I have given up and will let my lawyer take it from here.

First time opening an account with Truist, I gotta say I was skeptical at first but Laura was amazing . She was very informative, sweet and professional. Laura made it a wonderful experience.

Our experience with a Truist HELOC home equity loan was terrible. The approval process took over two months. The bank did not honor the loan rate we were quoted and refused to disclose the actual interest rate and fees on the three different payment options. The loan officers did not return calls, had incorrect information, and were poorly trained. The whole process was frustrating and incompetent. We took our business to another lender.

BB&T/Truist is only bank that I have ever banked with and this location is disappointing. I waited in line for almost an hour. I heard several people who were turned down and told to go to the ATM outside.

I've been doing business with BB&T/Truist for 5-6 years now at this location and the one in Dahlonega - To provide further clarity, I'm not a high maintenance customer or ask for/need much from a banking institution on a day to day basis. What matters most to me as a customer is the trust, care and knowledge that the people whom assist me as I interact with the business have my best interests in mind and are honest people.Needless to say, after an unpleasant experience I recently had with the branch lead of Dawsonville for assistance on a personal loan request I've decided to take my banking needs elsewhere. My decision came down to this because I:- Left three voice messages with the branch lead and all three unanswered- Five total call attempts made on my behalf to the branch to reach out for assistance- An unanswered email thread chain sent to the lead- A second walk-in visit of mine was required to follow up on the status of the loan request that was then rushed on their behalf (which was the deciding factor for myself to look elsewhere)All said and done, I'm not blaming the business itself for how I was handled. It seems that there is a lot of transition going on with Truist internally right now and some is good, some isn't... It's more disappointing as a customer that this is the service given for the one time that I reach out for personal assistance.Be careful, and ask detailed questions when banking here. Just my .02...

Firstly, the drive thru is ridiculously slower than walking inside. Second, they no longer will let you buy a handful of checks, you HAVE to order a check book from them if you want them. Finally, they refuse to do anything about complaints you bring to them. They will send you to voice-mail and ignore you, the customer, who has money in their accounts. They have ridiculously high overdraft fees and requirements to open an account with them. My wife has to keep a minimum of 1500$ in her checking account just to avoid fees. Another example of big buisness in America not actually being for the people. Do not bank with them or invest with them, plenty of other banks and credit unions offer you better rates.

I called the local branch and there is no option to wait for a human to speak with. You just have to keep hitting "0" and get the "no one can take your call". It is also the most difficult bank to get and out of (at no fault of theres due to DOT changes at the intersection.) On Fridays, people waiting in line at the drive-thru block the ATM so maybe some cones? People at the local branch are very nice, but if it's closed be ready for a 40-60 min wait time to speak to a human being nationally.

One employee at the bank, cannot pronounce his name, but he is an older gentleman and works at SunTrust. Sorry to say but he does not always understand what I tell him and puts me and my daughter's money in the wrong account!! Eventhough I told him what to do, he still did it wrong. I am loosing trust in my bank because of this person and feel like I want to move on to another bank!!!!!

Merging with Suntrust was a terrible choice for BBT. I have been so happy with them until the merge. Today was the final straw and I will be moving to a new bank. This Truist is a joke.

I have been a client with Suntrust bank in Florida for over 15 years! While visiting Georgia I had some banking concerns and Chassida Shockley was most helpful! She went above and beyond customer service! She was wonderful, kindhearted, and professional! She provided an amazing experience from the first phone call to the last! Suntrust bank is lucky to have employees like her! She makes you know that she exceeds every expectation to make you feel wanted in a bank! I can’t thank her enough and truly value her in Dawsonville!
