I didn't catch the name of the sales person working with us, but when my daughter locked herself out of her dressing room, he was so kind. He asked about what she did for fun and shared some amazing art techniques with her that we can't wait to try. She's at that in between adult and kid clothes stage and shopping is a little awkward for her and he made it SO much easier for both of us! We walked away with some great clothes and he built up her confidence! We will definitely shop here again!

I've shopped at this store before and have had similar situations happen. I went to the store on an early Friday afternoon, the store was dead. I was greeted by the two employees in the picture when I entered the store but wasn't asked if I needed help. I had a return so I headed straight for the register. The girl at the register was helping another customer checkout so I got on line. I waited for almost 10 minutes and while I waited i continued to look back and the employees are still just standing there gabbing. This is not only rude to customers but also to other employees in the store.

On June 11th, I visited a JCREW Factory store, and was trying on clothing, but needed a smaller size. I opened the door and asked the sales lady attending the fitting room for assistance. When I asked her to help me find my size, she looked me up and down before giving a sarcastic response of "GO, YOU'RE FREE TO GO - GET YOUR SIZE" which shocked me. Why wouldn’t she help me? Putting my shoes back on, I sarcastically said “Great customer service!” and she responded unenthusiastically. Then I left the dressing room to go find the size I needed, and she followed me all the way across the store and told my husband that I was upset because she couldn't help me due to her broken arm. By the way, there was no visible indication of her broken arm and she never mentioned it as an explanation. When I corrected her, saying that I was not upset and had only expressed my disappointment with her service earlier, she seemed to want an argument, defending herself and telling me I was wrong. It was crazy - if she can’t help me there was no need to follow me over just for an argument. I told her I intended to speak to her manager and she responded nonchalantly with a disinterested "UH-HUH". At J.Crew in Dawsonville, there is room for improvement in the training of employees. During that recent visit, I felt sickened and discriminated against when one worker attempted to gain sympathy from my white husband. He was confused by the behavior and she continued to follow us, whining. Despite this negative encounter, I have shopped at this location six times a year and plan to return in the future. The manager was nice and apologetic, but I hope all employees will provide amazing customer service and treat customers with kindness and fairness, regardless of their appearance or race. We are all humans sharing the same air and our time on this earth is temporary. May God bless you.#jcrewfactory

J crew is one of the stores in the outlet that I can find good stuff but they do not turn on AC and is miserable while shopping. Kind of counterproductive if your customers want to storm out cuz of the temperature instead of shopping and buying stuff. Also, it must be some type of policy but the staff were super pushy with opening up a j crew card. I heard them asking every person at the register in front of me not once but at least 3 times like a broken record, including when it was my turn to check out.

Received a pair of pants as a Christmas gift that didn't fit. Too small. They were bought on November 26, and come to find out they had an only 30-day return policy, so December 26. They would not return or exchange them at the price paid, and I was offered 50% of the purchase price as in-store credit only. And they literally had just told me they had no other pants in the store in my size for me to use their petty credit. I walked out and took the unworn gifted pants to Goodwill still with the tags. I suppose you need to procrastinate Christmas shopping here so your return/exchange period doesn't expire. Even during a pandemic. A 30-day return policy for any product during Christmas shopping season is simply ridiculous and unacceptable! I will never walk into a J. Crew store or shop online there ever again!

Walked in today to look at some shorts and was immediately greeted by someone getting on to my 6 year old daughter. We were planning on spending money here, but we walked out immediately. The staff should have better manners. My daughter had sat down on a pair of shorts. I would have told her to get up if I had the time to do so before the very rude young man came over to do it himself. Sorry your shorts got "wrinkled" for literally 2 seconds, but do not get on to other people's children.
