just came in about 15 minutes before close, my friend and i entered and were initially told they would be closing soon by an older lady with white/grey hair and glasses- i said okay thank you, and continued to look for the item i needed. within 3 minutes of that, the older lady asked if i needed help looking for anything, i politely said no thank you and she responded with much hostility, "well we need to get you checked out and out of this store in the next five minutes. so get what you need and hurry." (they still had approximately 10 minutes until close). i work in customer service/retail and understand the frustration of someone coming in later, but her reaction was completely unwarranted and would be deemed as grounds for termination at most establishments.

I just want to say thank you to cashier, Melissa, who patiently helped me correct a silly and embarrassing mistake when I checked out. I seriously appreciate her grace and kindness!! ❤️

There was a old woman on night shift assuming I was heading to the restroom and clearly seen the sign that they was cleaned so I turned around and asked right as soon as I asked the old woman came in and started screaming we are fixing to close don’t go to the restroom in a disrespectful way then turned around and was being rude the customer in front of us I strongly suggest getting rid of her if yall want to keep your business because she is extremely rude and impatient and makes rude comments and acts like people are stupid honestly I don’t think anyone should be that way but I am sorry for that customer that was in front of us and I hope this gets resolved before y’all completely lose business because of herDescriptionSilver/white hairAbout 5,7 to 5,10GrouchyAbout mid 50’sPs the other workers was wonderful

Dollar General is the store to shop when you are far from the main cities. It is a store we pass by often, and so we are aware of how to get to this one for sure. I've been drinking plain water and felt the urge to get some sweetened lemony taste. And I also like to sweeten up my coffee in the morning. We don't have an extensive list. We parked up front and got a shopping cart. As with any store, you gotta learn the layout and the location of what is on the list. My problem is that we found it, but along the busily stocked shelves and the meandering aisles, you find so much more. Vanilla ice cream and paint brushes somehow got into the cart. Well, it was a pleasure shopping at this Dollar General.

I bought a balloon and had it filled with helium. A nice man with long black hair helped me. Even though it looked like there was not anyone else in the store to help out he was calm and curtious.

Prices are always wrong and I just met the rudest lady ever!Not quite sure how anyone with an attitude like this could ever get a job dealing with actual people.And for the manager you should really pay attention to who you allow to interact with your paying customers.
