An employee named Olivia who’s been working there for 10 years (according to the plaque next to her name) had no customer service and was rude when I asked her a simple question. I’ve gone to other branches and have had no problems before. I’ve also worked customer service for over ten years & always greet customers with a smile. Maybe it’s time for an employee workshop on friendliness towards customers who could easily do business with another bank.

Typical big corporation behavior. The tape that answers the phone will never get you to an agent, and if it will (or you go there) the agent will know very few or nothing beyond applicable fees, and then not all possible ones. Every little service you ask is subject to 2, 3, 4 or more pages of terms and conditions where the only responsible for anything that may possibly go wrong is the customer. Funny thing is, at the end the system works. For the bank, at least.

Don’t bother trying to call because even when the automated voice says to “press 0 to continue holding” to speak to someone it still transfers you to something completely different. I’ve called every branch in Dalton and sat on hold forever and nobody ever answers. I don’t see the point on having phones if nobody bothers to answer. I know everything is “short staffed” but you’d think at least one person would’ve been able to answer a 5 second phone call.

My husband has been with Wells Fargo since 2013.In May of this year he was minus $3.40. They hit his with a double over draft fee. We went to the main branch in downtown Dalton. Well Saturday morning I saw he had a over draft fee for $-3,67. So ok they don't charge for this amount. Boy was I wrong. I knew there was nothing to do till his next pay check goes in on Thursday. Tuesday morning shocked him again. Now he's-$73.67. I went to the bank this morningThe girlPut in a request to refund the chargesTell me the manager was in a meeting and she would let me know something.Got an e-mail they were not going to refund the charges. So I called the bank. The lady tells me it's not the amount that you're overdrawn it is the day that the charges came in, MeaningThat the auto-pay That came through was authorized and each day that one came in even though the balance remained at minus $3.67 they tacked on A charge For Friday and Monday. Once this is paid we will close both accounts and go to Georgia United . Word of advice steer clear of Wells Fargo.UPDATE: After I left my review. The following morningI received an email. Wells Fargo was refunding one of the overdraft fees. Still the whole ordeal was frustrating.

Love Wells Fargo. The only issue that I ever had was when I was trying to apply for a credit card multiple times at this location. In all my attempts my application was actually never processed or put on the system. When calling to check on the status I was told that they would have to call me back and I never heard back from them. Finally, I decided to apply at the location on walnut ave and the lady that helped me was great and processed my application on the next business day with no problem. So if you have any issues with them it's not the bank its the banker that can't do the job right.
