Went to get some food thinning k would get normal staple items and 90% was out of date bread, cookies, cakes, all kinds of sweet items. I’m shocked I didn’t get anything other than out of date items to help me out. I seen others with pizza which was a meal, and I didn’t get that. Waste of my time and gas. I’ll never go there again. Awful!! Awful!!

Based on the information provided, which is that this organization does not assist with shelter to single homeless women without children! They do however, assist with shelter to single parents and families with children!Please alert the other organizations in your area, that your guidelines pertaining to shelter/emergency shelter, has changed and or been revised (in which is not in writing of any form, online or on paper) !!All organizations that I reached out to in an attempt to seek assistance with temporary shelter for a homeless woman there in your area, referred me to the Salvation Army. After several attempts, and reaching a wall each time, I personally had no idea why I was being misdirected.I then contacted The Salvation Army in your neighbor city of Chatsworth, Georgia and was informed that your guidelines for assistance with temporary shelter had recently changed!This is absolutely unbelievable, as I can not grasp in my mind that both Salvation Army's, located in the Dalton and Chatsworth areas of (Whitfield & Murray County Georgia) have verbally changed their guidelines! I will be contacting The Chief Executive Officer (General Lyndon Buckingham) to confirm the verbal changes made to these specific organizations, in an effort to confirm and receive in writing!At this time, for the reason stated above and until otherwise edited here: I do not recommend neither location (specified above) as reliable sources to donate nor reliable sources for assistance to single people without children!
