This location and the people working there have been amazing! In the past month, I've had to rent a car twice because of mechanical issues with one of our vehicles. Both times I had phenomenal service and communication.The second time we had to rent a car, we were expecting to only have to rent it for a week. It turns out we had to rent it for an additional week! With that being said, Arthur and Cody made sure to make it as seamless a process as possible. They are amazing and I will NEVER rent another car from anywhere else.

I made a reservetion a week before my vacation. I tried to called them to confirm it but no answer. I show up and they told me they didnt have any vehicle in their lot and they didnt know when they were going to get one. That they will call me when one come in... I waited all day and after few hours. I called them to check and nothing. I asked them why even do a reservation if they dont have any vehicles and they hang up on me. Worse costumer services....

The easiest and best experience I ever had renting a car! Cody and Arthur were very knowledgeable and professional with helping me. Great customer service, I highly recommend Hertz Rental Car here in Dalton!I will never go back to Enterprise after dealing with Cody and Arthur! The car was new, clean and an upgrade compared to what Enterprise offered me!

I rent a van from Hertz and O My God it was wonderful it drove like I was on cloud 9. I had no problems at all. They did me right and I will be back. If you need to rent anything go to hertz rental they will give u what you are looking for and ask for Codey in Dalton Ga he will help you at. Thanks Codey in Dalton Ga at Hertz Car Rental!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤

Absolutely one of the worst experience Iv ever had to deal with. Constantly taking money out of my account “by accident” then refunding it. I walked into rent the car, everyone was outside smoking. They are lazy and rude. When dude came back in to check me in, he looked at me and said “I have to pee”. So unprofessional. NOONE there knows what they are doing. Just don’t do it. And find somewhere else. Lol

This hertz location charged my personal card (that was on hold) for 3 extra days of a rental beyond what I had the vehicle. Please be aware they are scammers. I visited the office for a refund, was told it would be taken care of And it never was. I opened a case with their corporate twice and I was told they would contact me with a solution and I never heard back from them. I have proof of when I returned the vehicle even. I had to dispute it through my credit card company and am now opening a case with the Better Business Bureau. Please be aware and use another rental car company.

Robbed me of my 200 dollar deposit. Then after bringing the car back in checking my bank to see if the deposit had came back and all of a sudden they charged my account the price of the 3 week rental a week after we brought the car back... Keep in mind they had charged me every week when I renewed my rental then charged me the entire amount a week after bringing it back. My account is now 544 dollars in the negative :(

I would like to say, I don’t typically write reviews but just happen to be googling the time they open and saw these horrible reviews. Which is sad! Everyone has had a few bad experiences in life. I’m not sure why people don’t understand we are all human.

I’m not sure why people don’t understand we are all human.Instead of making a bad review, why not go try to resolve the issue?! Bad reviews affect people livelihood. We are human beings, I’m sure you all with the bad reviews are not perfect in your professions. None of us are. My very first experience with them when I moved to the area was a very pleasant one. In fact, I won’t go anywhere else. Yes, there were times when things weren’t right but I addressed it and they were very helpful in finding a resolution.So thank you all for the hard work you do!I am a Presidential Gold MemberSo I’ve rented from many places & though this is a smaller location.It’s by far the best Hertz I’ve experienced!Keep up the excellent customer service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️God Bless Mike, Cody, Angelique and all the great staff I have encountered when there.....

If I could give lower I would. They're website allowed me to pay by debit card, even accepting it into the system, only for me to arrive to then tell me that I wouldn't be able to proceed with the rental. Terrible job providing information for a young, first time renter.

Be careful, because they will scam you with the insurance. Most full coverage insurances cover you while you are in a rental, but Hertz tells you that isn't the case and if you want to be covered in case of any damage you need to buy their insurance. I got robbed of almost $300 dollars due to false information and when I called, they just said there was nothing that could be done to reimburse my money.

Not familiar with policies/conditions relating to ARI or other fleet companies handling rentals for company employees. I understand this is Dalton, Ga. But Hertz is a fairly large company that I'm sure gets clued in via emails. Other locations knew exactly what I was talking about.

This place will trick you on getting insurance you dont need when my vehicle was in the shop already had full coverage insurance and should have already covered there vehicle. please when you go rent a vehicle from them have them expain everthing to you before you rent from them. Very bad service .

I would give negative stars if possible. State Farm arranged for a rental after an accident. I called the Dalton Hertz office on Monday to confirm the rental. I told them that I would be dropping my car off for repair on Wednesday afternoon and would need a rental car at that time. They told me no problem, come in and pick up the rental car. When we arrived we were told they did not have a car available and could not tell us when they would. When asked why they confirmed the reservation if they didn't have a vehicle they denied talking to me on the phone. The employee made no attempt to try to locate a vehicle and told us they were not obligated to have a vehicle even if one is reserved. Worst customer service I have encountered.
