Not a good person to work for. I was hired fresh out of college. They expected me to be a genius and know how to do everything with no mentorship or training. I joined as a fresh hire out of college, around 8 years ago. I would show up to a clients office for an audit and be alone for several hours at a time, with no guidance. When the partners/managers were there to ask for guidance, I was made to feel inferior and ignorant. They gave no training on the tax software. One day they laid a big stack of tax returns on my desk and just kinda walked off. I did what I could, but I asked for help on some stuff. The next day I was essentially fired for needing help. Since then, I have worked for many wonderful people, and I realize it wasn't my shortcomings; it was their poor leadership. I have continuously impressed my supervisors and also passed all 4 CPA exams within 1 year on first try while working full time and taking classes. If you work here and you are made to feel less than, please know that you are strong and just need better mentorship, especially if this is your first job out of college.
