NO JUST NO!!!! I never leave reviews on any sites good or bad, but I hope I can save someone the trouble before it's too late! Seen a car online that I was very interested in so I contacted the owner through phone calls and text messages, he assured me that the car was in excellent condition, drives great, nothing wrong with it. I ask him ahead of time bc I live over an hour away so I didn't wanna waste my time on driving down there if the car had problems. Well we got there and the check engine light was on, he assured us it wasn't a problem, nothing mechanical was wrong. We went to test drive the car and he wanted to come along too, well as soon as we got in the car he started rushing us to get back bc he "people waiting" , that to me was a big red flag but he seemed like a nice guy. Car was clean, drove good, so I paid him for it. I gave him half cash and put the remaining amount on my card. Not even ten miles down the road the car breaks down, starts running extremely hot. We put water in the car and took it back, ask for my money back and he said it would be the next day since we met him on a Sunday, he said his bank was closed so we left the car and came home. Well the following morning I drove myself down there to pick up my money, he apologized and said the head gasket blew and he had no idea (yeah right). He gave me back the cash I gave him and said he would release the funds that was taken off my card back into my account right then, he sent me a receipt through a text showing a receipt of the amount I paid. He assured me that it takes less than 24hrs to go into my account. Three days later I'm still sitting here waiting on my money, my bank said he never released the funds back into my account and now he will not answer my phone calls or return my calls. When I text him, he will not reply and if he does he will just say "maybe tomorrow"! So now I have to go file a police report just to get my money!!! It's my fault, I should of been more cautious but I thought there where maybe some good hearted people left!
