CVS on Cleveland Highway in Dalton, GA has been the go-to pharmacy for my family and me for many years. They are kind, personable, and care about your health care needs. I highly recommend them.?

Unfortunately we are only able to use CVS with our insurance. When I come to get my prescription I cross my fingers that Mark the pharmacist isn’t working. He mumbles a lot and I have a hearing loss, always asking him to speak up. Well today he decided to yell, for the whole store to hear, “ITS NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE”. I was embarrassed and quickly left. He is rude and senile and I don’t understand how he is still employed here.

Picked up prescription and wanted to use GoodRX. The website gave a $81 price at this specific pharmacy. The associate that waited on me charged $143. I told them that was not what I was seeing. And I was told that it doesn't always match. I have yet to find a place that does not honor that price, specially specific to that location. She would not help me any further with the price.

My son had surgery and needed post-op meds. Went to CVS Hixson (where he lived) and they were out. (strike 1) Called CVS Cleveland Hwy and asked if they had it. They refused to tell me. Another pharmacy would tell me. (strike 2) Called doc and Rx was sent to CVS on Cleveland Hwy. went to pick up and was told by cashiers that they did not have it either. My hubs started talking loudly. Pharmacist heard and said that actually they do have it in stock but doc did not put frequency on Rx and could not be filled. (Cashier lied-Strike 3) She said she had a call into doc but not heard back suggested I call. I did. Pharmacist said she would call us when doc called-she did not (strike 4). We went home and doc called. The pharmacist had not left him message (strike 5). He had been on the phone for 30 minutes with Manager and Pharmacist and they were refusing to fill the Rx. (Strike 6.). According to the doc's computer the frequency was on the original Rx (Strike 7.). Called new Rx into Walgreen's and we had meds in hand within 30 min. First dose was due at 4:00. Was not taken until 7:30. CVS lost a minimum of 5 customers that night. 4 in our family and, most importantly, the doctor. Yes, CVS is his pharmacy and he said he is dropping them because of this! Shame on CVS! They need to go back to school in Customer Service!!!

This CVS has awful customer service. Every time I go to pick up my prescriptions it takes an extremely long time. Lots of the staff are inconsiderate and highly unfriendly.

Called about my prescription and they said they hadn't received it, yet I was at the doctor's office the day before when it was called in. I called Dr and they recalled it in I waited until next day to pick it up. I went to drive through and had to wait 45 minutes for car in front of me to leave. Two days later I go to pick up my husband prescription and go inside. There are 5 people behind the counter and one person a head of me. No one recognize any of us just kept head down. Finally the man in front cough loudly and someone looks up and walks over. It takes her awhile to help him. Then she goes back to what she was doing. Finally she comes over to help me. The customer service at this location has disappeared. I may soon be changing pharmacy.

Pharmacy service was fast and I didn't have to pay that much for my prescription. Clean facility also.
